I have been filing a complaint at www.donotcall.gov everytime Allied Interstate calls and I see it on my caller ID. I do not have any back debt and I think that this company is a scam. Hopefully, the FTC will be contacting you with repeated annoying calls real soon! | |

I had them call my work and ask for a specific person. This guy must have owned money to someone because he left work so fast. They called 8 or 9 times in the last 2 days. They called themselves United Processing. Peter Woods was his name and he was so hard to understand I hung up on him, but first I got a phone number and I called back. I was harrassed and told that an officer would be by my work to pick up the guy they called for and they would take me in too. I contacted the police and made out a report. Foreign blank. | |

I have been served a summons from Asset on a credit card account from 2001. Which they purchased last year from another debt collector whom purchased the debt in Jan. 2003. Asset now has a law firm which I called and received their voice mail, which stated they were a debt collector. I really do not know how to handle this one, other than the SOL defense if we go to court. | |
