I was a rainy weekend. I bought some meaty country style spareribs, seasoned and browned them in a dutch oven. Caramelized some onions added a sliced apple and some rinsed and drained sauerkraut and a bottle of dark beer. Cooked them til the meat fell of the bone and served with mashed baby red potatoes and the same beer. I miss fall. I think I want to mve back up north to maybe Virginia.

Frog, my mouth is watering. I used the sliced apples mixed with apple pie filling and pork tenerloin in the crockpot for a meal when I know we are eating on the run. I may have to try adding saurkraut, onions and beer.
