You can find links to the Florida laws on the front page of the forum. Also go to your State's attorney's site and you can access info from there too.
You need to know how much the original loan was for and how many payments, how much money they have debited to date. Then figure what you should pay for the loan based on Florida law. Subtract the difference to see if you still owe a balance or have overpaid (depending on how long you have been paying for each loan).
Then write each company a cease and desist letter...you can serch and find one on here also. You can also call to try to make payment arrangements on any you might still owe money. You really need to know where you stand as far as how much you owe, etc. You can find all the info you need at this site to pick it up from there. Just ask and someone will answer.

Read these links below. You will get a lot of suggestions from the community members.

After closing the account, go through your state laws and calculate the total payments done on each account. You need to know their actual status and then work out payment arrangements with the ones with whom you have a balance. All the lenders you are dealing with are discussed on this board. Read the threads and know more about their business. You will stand as an informed consumer.

Thanks so much!! This is the list of what I borrowed and paid;
MTE Financial 300.00 pd 360.00
Cashnetusa 300.00 pd 344.00
SJM Marketing 250.00 pd 675.00
Unitedcashloans 250.00 pd 425.00
Should I send them letters stating that they have been paid in full according to Fl. state laws and would there be any draft letters on this site?

Does anyone have an address for MTE Financial (tendollarpaydayloan).
They seem to be the only one that I cannot find.
Thanks

You seem to have overpaid United Cash Loans and SJM Marketing. How about asking for a refund from them with the help of your AG?

Thanks for the help, I was wondering if someone could help me understand the laws in Florida regarding pdls, it's all a little confusing. I did send letters to all of my pdls telling them that they are not authorized to ACH my account and have also closed my old account and opened a new account. Hopefully that will help!! If anybody can help me with some wording for a letter stating that I want my accounts to be considered paid in full that would be really helpfull!!
Thanks

I have another question, when my husband called United Cash Loans to find out what was going on, they took it upon themselves to give out my info, now since it was my husband no big deal, but anyone could have called and claimed to be my husband, I thought there were laws that prevent people from doing that!! Is there anything I can do?

Sorry but I have another question!! I have been reading alot about the different pdls and kept seeing that cashnetusa was licensed in most states so I doubled check to see who they were going through on my loan and its called cash america net of Florida or something very close to that, when I looked it up I couldn't find that name licensed either, so does that mean that they are not really licensed, very confused!! Please Help!!
