Hi Vikas and/or anybody

Sorry to bug you again!! I do all my thinking late at night, when my kids fall asleep! I had an idea as I was browsing the forum. Perhaps in a future update to the website, a feature could be added to allow users to report an abusive/offensive/otherwise inappropriate post to a moderator or admin? I've noticed an occasional cuss word, which I know is a no-no, and all those drug ads that are passing through the spam filters. Just a suggestion for the future!!! Thanks again for this wonderful place

~Mary

That's a good suggestion Mary. It will help the community understand if anyone is trying to abuse the system. I will definitely consult with the tech guys about this.

I am so glad to see that community members have started thinking about the site whole heartedly. We want more new ideas from you in future.

Regards
Vikas

I concur. We are here to help each other and make lifelong friends and the people who post offensively are a cause of tension for the forum members. I was thinking, maybe we should slap bad collectors who posts insults with fines!

I think that would be a great idea--And would keep some of the stress off the moderators as it could let them know exactly where the problem is without having to PM them, or them having to search every thread.

Vikas--You've made this place so informative and so addicting we can't stay away..lol

Maybe your can set it up in a way that if a moderator is on line, they get some kind of notification right away. Also, we might have to consider letting moderator have the ability to moderate in all forums. After all if the offending post is in a post a moderator is not charged with, they still can't do much about it, except email Vikas or a moderator for that forum, who knows when one of them will be on line again?

I think this is a good idea.. definitely should be looked into

I could not agree with you more Mary. We don't want to turn people off with posters using language that is not necessary. I always have felt that people who use foul language are showing their lack of intelligence.

Yeppers! I don't know how easy it would be to implement something like that, i'm sure it would involve a lot of rewriting code and such, but I bet tech support is up for a challenge!! LOL
