CCCAttorney, is there a number where I can contact you?

I would be more than happy to write a rave review about your company if you are in fact correcting the behavior of the employees of the company.

To be clear (and as is listed in my first post). This is the specific office I spoke with-Florida Office
1 800-215-9921

I do not have their names, the first time was a young man and the second time I called, I spoke with a Mrs. Mumm. Mrs. Mumm put me on the phone with a female supervisor. So at least 3 people at the company gave me the same answer.

Perhaps Stella spoke with another office of CCCOA, but this office was VERY clear, they weren't giving me any information in writing without my bank information. All the way up to the supervisor.

So if I can speak with you CCC Attorney, I would love to get on a call with you and this supervisor, and we can clear it all up and then I will tell everyone here that you guys went to great lengths to correct your error.

PS I tried logging in with my password and it isn't working.

I worked with CCOA from 1998 until 2002. I found them reasonable, professional and courteous. I never had a bit of trouble with any of them and I worked with them through an office in the southwest. I was able to satisfy my debt in a moral and honorable way.

I just spoke with a referral service New Beginnings Financials (NBF) that charges approximately 6% of your debt and makes referrals to Membership Services a non profit Consumer Credit Counseling company. During my very professional 2 hour conversation with NBF I gave my credit card, banking, SS#, address etc information, was qualified and spoke to an underwriter AND was told over and over again that nothing was official until I signed on the dotted line. I become very uncomfortable when I couldn't afford the monthly payment and the NBF employee suggested I take the remaining cash advance on one of my credit cards and then enter that card also in the program at a later date! the enrollment fee is $1,400+. which would be a draft from my checking (today unless I gave them a credit card number, I didn't want to continue to increase my debt). The underwriter suggested I establish a new credit card and charge theenrollment fee! Needless to say, last week I called and told NBF I was no longer interested. The Customer Service Supervisor (CSS) told me I needed to speak to the agent I had spoken to initially because he needed the file from her, she was not at her desk. I have to say the employees at NBF were not pleasant. It was not within their capacity to understand (the CSS said he couln't understand this as he was a psychology major) my right to reject this AND they did not agree that since I had not signed anything I was not committed. NBF now indicated if I chose to enroll within the next 3 to 5 years I would not be able to do so. In any case it was necessary for me to call Member Services as welll as the company to which I would be making the monthly payment to cancel. I would need to send a fax cancellation letter. After calling I sent faxes yesterday (although I fail to understand what I was canceling since all along NBF had told me all the information I was providing was purely so they could give me a quote and should I decide to go with this plan they would have it). Regardless of the BBB rating (not really sure what it is) for this company, it deceived me.
