I happened on this forum by accident. I was searching for what wfnnb was. I receive 2-3 telephone calls daily asking for my daughter. I tell them time and time again that she doesn't live here, and to please stop calling. One person asked for her cell phone number, which I refuse to give out since they won't tell me what they want. I told them over a week ago to please mail something to her and I would make sure she gets it. However, I've received nothing in the mail and they keep calling daily. I haven't asked her what it's about - maybe she has a credit card with charges from them, which I'm now assuming after reading these posts.
This has got to be one of the worst companies I've ever heard from. Is there any way to stop the phone calls? Does anyone there understand what "she doesn't live here" mean?? |

You can send them a cease communications letter stating that your daughter doesn't live there and to cease and desist all future phone calls.

I picked the following numbers posted in this forum. You might be interested in calling them back and get the matter fixed.
1-800-695-5316 / 1-800-224-3114 / 1-888-427-7790 / 614-729-4000 then hit #3 If you have placed a request with them to stop the calls, they need to honor it. If they are not ignorant, place your complaints at the local AG's office as well in the BBB and the FTC. You will hear a positive response. |

Well lets hope those work. I continually get calls for my sister. When I say she doesn't live here anymore, then they keep asking for numbers, etc.. Now when they call and ask for her, I say you have the wrong number. That has alleviated a lot of calls, believe me.

It is World Financial Network Bank.
They call 24/7--they go by investigators and supervisors when they really are just CA agents. I am in a debt settlement company and they are my smallest acct of 1,000.00 and they call more than the accounts that are 5,000. go figure. |

These "a**holes" are trying to collect a debt that you, a spouse, joint account holder or authorized buyer incurred. You are obligated to PAY the debt if you used your credit card. If you don't want them to call you, give them the number of the person they are trying to reach. Tell them not to call you anymore and send a letter in writing stating this. They have to obey the FDCPA and will not call you if that is what you wish.

For several months now, I have received frequent calls from WFNNB. i had already advised them that the account in debt was not mine. I even told them that at my previous workplace there were about 2 more persons with the same name. Well, today the woman asked me for my last 4 social security gits. I gave them to her. She said that i was not the person in the account. She will advise the company to cease any more calls. Now I am scared that was this person a legal employee or somebody else trying to scam me. Should I write a letter. Also the phone number 913-563-5502 is not listed as one pertaining to WFNNB. What do I do?

I paid a settlement in August 2009 and no one seems to know where my account is. I have been getting the run around all month and been left on hold for hours, transferred 15 times in one call to still get NO INFO. This is totally ridiculous and inconvenient.
