Hi Erin

Welcome to the forums.

Many people are going through similar problems with payday loans. Due to some reasons, payday lenders and debt consolidation companies are not coordinating with each other, hence consolidation programs are not easily available.

In such a situation, it will be your best move to talk to your lenders and arrange for a payment plan. Explain your present financial situation and convince them that you are willing to pay the said debt within a reasonable period of time. Most of the lenders work out a plan to ease the consumers' financial problems. Due to your hard times, some of them even reduce the financial charges and the late fees making the total amount affordable to pay.

Try to pay the loans one by one concentrating more towards the large amount with the highest rate of interest. It will take some time but you are sure of your accounts getting paid.

Regards
Roxette

Bewildered,
Same company has done the same thing to me. I have paid the loan back above and beyond what I have borrowed and they keep debiting my account. I finally went to my bank and had them close my account and open a new one. I also had them close my linked savings account and debit card just in case. I have tried to call this company and can never get in touch with them. You can send a letter to them asking them to stop contacting you and than go to your bank. Call them after your account is closed and let them know that you no longer have an open account and will have to pay them by money order. Also ask them for proff of what was paid and how much you now owe. I wish I would have found this site before I took out a loan with them. It would have saved me a lot of time, stress and money.

Do not send any money until you have got the complete statement showing the payments details.

I put a stop payment on a 90.00 loan fee because I have been paying it for approximately 6 months and want to pay it but have no way to get in touch with them. I did get a threatening phoe call from a collection agency 1 week later saying to get an attorney but still no contact from Access. Of course the collection agency does not have their phone number.

Any ideas Thank you

What is the exact reason that you stopped your payment? Have they taken more money than what was expected? Payday loans are very expensive. You have to pay a renewal fee as long as you keep the principal unpaid. Go through your papers of agreement and see if any contact address is listed there. Try to speak to the original lender and work out a payment plan.

Tell the collection agency to validate the debt first, so that you understand if they are authorized to collect your account. You can send them a letter too. Don't forget to send your correspondence through CMRRR.

Feel free to ask your questions in forums, if you have any.

Thank you for your response. I stopped payment on it because I wanted to pay it down for the last two months and had no way to get in touch with them. I have never received paperwork, emails, etc. I called the bank to see if they had a phone number and they did not. I have searched on line extensively for anything related to this company called Access.

How did you apply for this loan, was it an online loan? You can search for them with BBB also.
