The funny thing is that I cant even find the site anymore. I even tried to goggle them and I only got this site instead. So they might go to extreme measures and try to change their P.O. box.
But no, I doubt that a mass of complaints would bring a collection company down. unless they are really small and fledgling. if this trend is true, they may expect a barrage of lawsuits, but i still think that they will be around.
Is there a reason why you don't want to repay your payday loan? Because your credit will come out as the victim, not Ellis and associates. So you should try to get this payday loan out of the way. if they haven't sent it to the collection agency yet, try to see if you can consolidate that debt so you can repay it and maintain your credit. If they have sent it to collections already, try to see if a deal could be worked out where you could consolidate. It is still early so you may have hope to do this.
But in the future, I would advise you against these payday loans. The interest is too high and it is not worth sacrificing your hard earned pay to feed a few loan sharks.
