I can understand the concern, but don't panic folks.

A bankruptcy won't discharge any debt arising from fraud or defalcation while acting in a fiduciary capacity. 11 U.S.C. §523(a)(4).

In other words, if you take someone's money by lying to or cheating them, the law won't protect you.

Good luck to you all.

BTW, has it occurred to anyone here that lawyers for the other side may use what's posted here in order to gain a tactical or strategic advantage?

I have enough experience with law and my studies of the law to know that you are stirring up this community and are subject to litigation if you continue

Why would anyone do business with a company with that goofy name. Let's get real! P.S. Always check out a company with the BBB before you sign up for their services. If they're a lawfirm, check with the State Bar Assoc. in the state they operate to see if they have any complaints. A little homework will save you a lot of aggravation.

At the time, the company had an ok repoir. I am sure people did their homework...lets not just forget about the Stantons and the many innocent people they took money from, they know right from wrong!! They still need to pay for all of the money they stole, many have gone to prison for these same kinds of practices and so should Chris/Hyla!!! What's makes them an exception Samspade?

The above post states they went out of business, No, they were FORCED out of business; big difference! Remember Hyla, you and Chris did not have a license to be running your business, how easily you forget!
