A little over a month ago, Ted Crosby got on this forum and said he bought a new Rolex watch with the money he was getting from everyone. It was definitely from his office, as the IP address matched it. Has anyone, mentioned this while making their complaint to the Attorney Generals Office?

I know that it can't be proven that it was him, but even after seeing that complaints were being made, his associates still threatened/harassed everyone.

I just find it odd, that he was able to file bankruptcy, after he was getting all this money with the high interest rates he was chargingn people. And top it off, he sold the account again after the debt was paid.

His new business has relocted somewhere in Jacksonville, Flordia and is more than likely being called Anthony Galloway & Associates and possibly Interstate Collections. Their office is a mess right now, I'm sure of it. As they just moved in...and aren't very well prepared to answer any questions (to anyone).

I mentioned it to Summer. She called me one day and i told her about it. This is very immature of him to say this on his part.

Sounds like the company is bankrupt or something like that so why would the Attorney General's Office contact me if there is nothing that can be done if they did go belly up?

Please let me know if anyone has had interactions with the office and Amy Sands I believe is her name. I'm sort of running a little low on trust these days with what happened to me.

A few months back I filed a lawsuit against Ellis Crosby & Associates for illegal collection activities. I was just informed by my attorney today that they have indeed filed for bankruptcy and that we will not be able to pursue the lawsuit any further. He assured me that they are out of business and that I should not be hearing from them again. I am wondering if they are operating under a new business name.

It really disgusts me how EC treated me as well as so many other consumers all over the country and that by them filing bankruptcy they are not liable for any civil damages. That is bull!!

I spoke to Amy Sands of the Attorney General's Office in Florida today about the case against Ellis Crosby & Associates, she states they are going to court December 14, 2005 and that they are practicing under the new name of Anthony Galloway & Associates and if they contact me or anyone else about debts to contact her and let her know because they will try to collect the same as Ellis did....

She said she would let me know the outcome of the hearing. I'll pass on any information that I receive. I told her that this website has been a god sent and has made me feel a little better knowing I'm not alone with my financial situation.

Thanks to all for their good thoughts and to Ms. Sands for her continuing to fight the good fight even if things don't work out at least I know that I tried!

I am 120% sure that the girl who ran the switchboard at Ellis Crosby & Associates is now answering the switchboard at "Interstate Collections". You might want to also bring this up to her, as "Interstate" has been doing the same threatening acts towards consumers.

It is very possible that she found another switchboard job, but she answers the same way, "how may I direct your call", the company practices the same, "we're going to arrest you in 45 minutes" routine.

Mikey, I've searched for the post regarding Ted Crosby's "Rolex" post but it simply doesn't exist. I was curious to see it. If you post the IP address of this post, I will confirm or deny if the IP is in Ellis Crosby's allocated IP address subnet.

It has already been confirmed that it was Ted Crosby making the posts. The IP address was tracked, and came back to him.

I, however, cannot provide you with the IP address. However it has been verified it came from his place of business.

Interesting how he "tracked" it down since ECA has never had a block of IP addresses registered or allocated by ARIN. So I'm intrigued how exactly it was 'tracked' down. If the IP subnet isn't in the 207.201.2xx.xxx (I won't post the exact ip or subnet) range, it was not anyone from ECA's office. Also, FYI, Ted has a Mercedes, NOT a BMW. The person who posted as Ted Crosby was obviously clueless.

Yes, I am, however I am not defending him or his company. I am merely pointing out that I highly doubt someone was able to trace a post back to his office. I highly doubt the person who posted that had an ip from the ip subnet I posted. Being someone who knows more then the moderators has it's advantages too. Wink

Agreed. Not only does he feel people owe him money, he owes money himself. I just wanted to put some truth to what was posted since there seems to be so much BS.

Hi,

If you are unable to get any human voice from these numbers, take help of your telephone operators and get this number blocked. As per the fdcpa law, if the company is attempting any collections, they are required to send the details of the debt in writing. Don't let these calls disturb you endlessly. Get them blocked if they are not getting answered.
