I'm so glad I came to this site! I'm being harassed by this company right at this moment! I received a call today from an investigator price, he states that this conversation is being recorded and he begins by asking if I was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. He proceeded to say that the pay day loan company is officially pressing charges against me for not repaying requested funds. He stated charges such as fraud and a number of things. I was terrified. He said that the file will be downloaded from their office today at 12 noon and will be receive in my general district where an officer will be to my home to pick me up. He went on to state that if I can't pay the restitution of $1070. He has no recourse but to send the file on and I better have someone on standby to bail me out! I was horrified. I agree to pay some of the monies and it was enough for them so he went on to state that watch out for the police. I hung up! I later called back to receive a copy of the original contract that I signed they refused so I hung up again. They called me back 5 times asking to speak with me supervisor, personnel and security - screaming into the phone that I'd commented fraud. Something truly needs to be done about this harassment from this company. If someone has started something - I truly want dibbs -

please somehow contact the attorney general of florida. and report these people. it is free, and easy, i just filed mine yesterday and i know of 5 other people who are filing today. Ellis and Crosby will go down if we can band together to talk to the same person Summer Saladino, Please call her at their office and HELP YOURSELF, by calling and reporting!

Oh, I am so ready. I bet we could get a class action lawsuit against them. I am in Texas and my harrassment started on 7/19. They did the same things to me that everyone else is complaining about and they stoop to some pretty low standards. They said that they had two accounts against me but they only had information about one and they tried to say that I was committing fraud. The loan was for only $300 but now they say I owe 1600.00! They said that I needed to come up with at least half that same day (at 4:00 p.m.) and call them back. Luckily I have a best friend whose husband is an attorney and he informed me that what they were threatening to do was illegal. Now I've called them back and recorded the conversations but they have clammed up on me. I told them that I needed documents mailed to my home in order to take care of this and someone is supposed to get back to me. I'm still waiting for that call!!! We know our rights, it's time to fight back. There are people out there that don't know and would panic and try anything to do what these people tell them in order to not be "sent to jail" or "have they're boss fire them" as they claim they can do!

I have never dealt with this company but it sounds to me like they are the one committing fraud by claiming that you need to come up with X-amount of dollars by a certain time or else and the dollar amount doesn't even match what you owe.

I have experienced the same thing today!!! I was called by this company and told that if I did not pay $560 by 4pm today, an order would be sent over to my county's criminal division and that I would be arrested. I was told to shut my mouth, lower my voice and stop insulting her intelligence. All by simply asking if they would fax me a copy of the agreement that I signed showing the total amount owed. I was told that I was lucky that I even got a courtesy call. The person that called me identified herself as an investigator investigating a 2 crimes that I committed using a combination of words that I have never heard before...fraudulent instruments and intent to defraud a federal institution and maliciously entering into a .....I immediately went to the local legal aid society and retained an attorney. Upon calling them back to tell them that I would not be making a payment, but instead would like to give them the name and number of my attorney, the tone totally changed. The SAME woman I talked to earlier told me that I never requested any information and why didn't I tell her this and that. I have found alot of information about this company and will join any attempt to put this place out of business. I have never in my life been so demeaned and spoken to so condecendingly.

I used to live in Florida and know how slow their state can work. Companies like this move a lot and change their name often. This is their career. please contact the fbi and forget shutting them down they need to be arrested.lodge a complaint at ifccfbi.gov.I am interested in a class action suit.let me know.

I am so happy to find out that I am not the only one. I was told at 7:30 a.m. that I had to come up with $800.00 before 1:00 p.m. or else the police were coming after me and my husband, and they were not coming to shake hands. I was on edge all day. They can not do this to people. Furthermore...This is not even a legitamate claim. When I asked them for a copy of all the charges, he stated to me that he could overnight them to me, but according to him that would be too late. Then I called back to get their address to check them out with Better Business Bureau, and they were dancing around giving it to me. After several phone call desquising my voice I had to lie and say I was an attorney. SURPRISE SURPRISE....They are not showing up as a member of BBB
I will now contact the proper authorities

Ellis Crosby is going through legal proceedings for unfair policies of debt collection, threatening people to pull money from them and harassing consumers. Don't pay a single penny to them. They are not paying original creditors also for some days!

Wait awhile; probably your account will be transferred to another collection agency. You can pay the amount to them.
