I have been paying on this cc for so long I can't remember what I originally bought. I asked for verification but just got long list of payments, not the original purchase from long ago. How can I get this? Don't they have to tell me what I bought?

Welcome to the forums.

You can definitely ask your credit card company to send a duplicate copy of all your previous bills.
Some credit card companies do have limitations on the period for which they can send copies of old bills.
However get it clarified from the company why they are not sending you the original purchase bill.Also it would have been helpful if you posted the pereiod for which you are holding the credit card.

You can also consult with your attorney in case the credit card company refuses to send the old bills.
