Ok first of all, how can this company continue to do this to people? I just don't get it, they should be shut down! How many complaints do they need? They have 66 complaints on the bbb website against them. I just can't believe they can continue to do this! I sent them a C & D letter early July and have not heard from them since... but I feel like they are right there, maybe getting ready to call me, for just a simply loan from FSM processing that I am willing to pay back but can't because I would never send money to Ellis and FSM will not work with you.

Please send one cease and desist letter and ask for validation of the said debt. It is your legal right to know the complete details of your accounts.

I get into work again this morning...and another call! I picked up the phone and I hear this deep, rude voice ask for me. I KNEW who it was so I hung up the phone. He called back 5 minutes later ("Investigator Michael Thomas") and asked me if I'd made a payment yet. Again I told him "no" and he hung up.
When do they stop??? I really hope that their "business" goes under VERY soon....

"Investigator" Sanchez called me again earlier and she accused ME of being a liar. I said, "Well, speaking of liars, you KNOW your 'business' is under legal surveillance and suspension, so you shouldn't be contacting me. Period." Then she panicked and said, "No, that's the COLLECTIONS part of our 'business' not the LEGAL part."

Uh huh. Needless to say, she hasn't contacted me since.
I sent a copy of that awesomely-written letter to them via fax Smile

i recieved a call from them also.it was Sanchez, telling me i need to borrow some money from a family member, because i was about to goto jail for fraud and
bad checks because i have a couple of payday loans unpaid. I have never been contacted by the payday companies, but i get a call from her., I have every intention of paying it back, but i told her, i am on disability, and i have to pay somrthing on it once a month. of course that wasn't acceptable. Then she mentioned Eagle national bank, i said well i will called them, she let me know they will not accept phone calls. Spmething is fishy, something needs to be done about this. Help

Yes, Ellis Crosby cannot do anything during the suspension period.

You can read the feedback of other members in the forum and realize that Ellis Crosby is involved in all sorts of illegal activities to recover money.

I guess how they call people when they know that we all are aware of the facts. I appreciate their dedication to their work. Though it is not giving positive results, but they keep trying. Guts

hi i was a victim just today about a3 hours ago by the name of S.MOORE. she demanded that i sent them money today. i was scared to death, i gotten real nervous about this.somthing needs to be done about this. i also asked for some kind of paper work, she stated that she could not give me any until i sent the money. i took it upon myself to look them up and this is what i found. who ever started this message bord thanks you help calm me down.

I rec'd a call on August 24th telling me I need to send $665 dollars or they will call my employer and send someone to take me to jail. I did send the money and I have a copy of my Western Union receipt. Is it possible for me to get my money retrun to me.

I am still over here shaking from the call I just got from a representative from Ellis Crosby and Associates. They gave me the 2pm deadline as well. They told me that my case would be downloaded to the courts and that I would be brought up on charges to defraud a payday loan company. I have every intention on repaying the loan but i have been out of town and did not have access to any information regarding the company. I thought I had paid the loan off but can not quite recall. The lady was very demanding and scared the crap out of me. I told her that wouldnt be able to pay until the 15th but she said they wouldnt be able to wait that long. Mind you I have not received anything in writing nor a phone call or email from the payday loan company. She claims to have my case and that she is handling it and that I can not make arrangements with the payday loan company any longer. What do I do?????

Nothing! You wait until the case between Ellis Crosby and the Attorney General is over. The 1st hearing is on monday, But they are pushing for extension for discovery!
That company cannot do anything to you, i would not pay them NOW because your money wont go toward the debt it will go towards their last paycheck.
They are being shut down by a court and face federal charges.
Dont send them anything they cannot do a thing to you.
Im not saying dont pay but i would wait until a new company is hired and your debts will be sold to them, maybe they will be honest with us, and not use scare tactics.
