As far as I know, the debt consolidation companies won't charge you anything when you get enrolled with their debt consolidation program.
However some debt settlement companies can charge you a small fee for their services.
There are some companies which will ask for a large amount of commission for consolidating your debt. It is better to avoid getting yourself registered with these organizations.
