I am human I made a mistake of not working with creditors when I was sick an unable to pay. I was to stubborn . I acknowledged my debt with one angry creditor and tried to make it right and they still treated me horribly even denying my payment and threatening me.

I owe about $7,500 or so. I haven't totalled up all the lates fee's and such. I owe 7 different creditors which has probably completely destroyed my credit history.

I really need some help.. whether consolidating is right for me I don't know. I cannot make the payments they are demanding and some of them are threatening to take it to court, whether thats evne possible I have no idea.. It's very stressful and I want to end it!

It usually happens to a majority of us that the credit card debt keeps on accumulating and before we are able to realize it, we carry a debt load that is far beyond our means.

As it has happened in your case, you should take immediate positive steps to knock down the debt as quickly as possible.

debt consolidation program will be helpful to you as it is one of the most efficient ways to reduce the amount of interest you pay by shopping around for a better rate and having the balance transferred over. This program will help you in saving thousands of dollars during the program.

If you do not contribute anything to your account, then the creditors will feel the need to take necessary action against you. Be assured that the payments that you make in the debt consolidation program will be much lower than those that you make to your creditors directly.

So debt consolidation will fairly be a better choice at this point because it will result in significant improvement in your credit file.

You need not to worry because the system will send your contact information to the debt consolidation company operating in your area. The consultant from that company will get in touch with you at the earliest. It usually takes 24 hrs to 48 hrs after your signing up with this site.

Yea it was a huge mistake for me to get into this problem..

I virtually have 0 assests (atleast in my name) no saved money over $1500, I'm 24yrs old and I have no inheritance or a job.

I need to do something about that NOW before it gets so out of hand I can't help myself.

I could be on the street so easy if my dad wasn't helping me.. If he were to get sick or have an accident I'd be truly out of luck unless I can find decent work outside my garage mechanic/handy man side jobs.

Anyway thanks for all the support/info/guidance. It's already helped my stress level and pointed me a path I didn't have just this morning..

More good news I got my test results.. I scored a 33 on my ACT qualified for the michigan competitive scholarship fund and I'm enrolled at a university! That will really help out with the bills also!
