I did a loan with them one week ago.Now they were supposed to take the money out of my acct friday(916).I called to informed them my check would be in 12:00 pm that day.They said it would go in acct at sometime earlier,so I would have to send the money the next day thru western union.But I looked on my online statement and Coastline credit debited my acct 190.10. I owed them 381.00,why would the only take half?

They divide the payment. That way, if you only have a portion of it, they'll at least get half their money. Only problem is that, obviously, the other remaining half wasn't there, thus causing you to be charged their $29 NSF fee. The same situation happened with me my first time lending through them. They attempted to take the money back at 4AM....when my money wasn't going to be direct deposited till 8AM.

My suggestion---really is to not do payday loans, but if in the future you do lend through a payday loan company, to make the repayment date for that Monday. They don't verify your paydate...but they will keep track, and will allow the one time change from Friday to Monday.

I too have a loan with sonic payday and they called me at work one day and told me that my $405.00 loan was outstanding, which it was, and that I had to pay it in full and when I told them that I didn't have all the money today they told me they would take legal action against me. My employer got a wage assignment thing the other day in the mail for me from them and I was wondering if they have the legal authority to take the full amount? I thought they only had the right to take a certain percentage of your paycheck? I need to know asap about this matter, also, the amount should still be only$405.00 right?

Welcome to the forums. Wage assignment covers some legal aspects and you need to receive court orders before they can take money from your paycheck.

Contact the company and get the payment plan clear so that you can complete your payments.

I went to the BBB site and requested information for Sonic Pay day. It gave me this address: PO Box 1209 Oaks Pa 19459. 1-877-263-3666. I calledthe number and asked the man can i apply for a loan he said no, you must go to the web site sonicpayday.com. so I gathered this is a add4ress for them. I been tryingto get address for them and kept getting some Ireland address. So I hope this helps whoever needs the address.

I don't think the PA address is related to Sonic Payday/PRL/CoastLine. They have a so-called office in Wilmington, Delaware, office in Dublin, Ireland and collections agency in Surrey, BC Canada. Headquarters is also in Surrey, BC. E-Care Centre is in Winnipeg, MB Canada. They are all managed by Peter Ash(CEO) and David Ash(CIO). Also the collectors do not use their real last name.

So I'm wondering if they are giving out more US addresses.

What is CIO?

And I was told it just David Ash and that Peter didn't exist.

I have done some investigating on several payday loan companies that operate through the internet.

Some of my findings include the following:

E-Care Contact Centres Ltd.
Company based out of Winnipeg, MB and Surrey, BC

They act as call centre for prldirect.ca; sonicpayday.com; coastlinecredit.com

They are also the payment services (collections) group for these companies as well.

I did a search on their domain whois and found the following:

Admin Contact is Jeremy Sabourin. He is based out of Winnipeg, MB. His address is 300-433 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3X5. His contact number is (204) 940-3889.

sonicpayday.com

Admin Contact is Joanne Turner 18/19 College Green, Dublin, 22222, IE. I believe this is the contact number 35316177822

coastlinecredit.com

Funny thing about this one: Registrant is Jeremy Sabourin, same address as above. Admin contact is Grace Smyth, 18/19 College Green, Dublin, 22222, IE. I believe this is the contact number 35316177822

And finally,

This is E-Care Contact Centers Ltd. They have offices in Winnipeg, MB and Surrey, B.C.

Their office in Winnipeg is 300-433 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3X5. don't know if this is a post office box or actual address. What is so shady about this is the the registrant for this website is none other than Jeremy Sabourin. the contact number address for Jeremy on this website is 707 - 15 Kennedy Street, Winnipeg, MB and on this one he doesn't have a phone number. The Administrative contact for them is Brad Hogg at 300-433 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3X5. His contact number is (204)940-3527.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

I managed to get the corporate office in Surrey, B.C. Their address is 15225 104th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Their number is (604) 588-2260. When the answering machine comes up wait for the end of the message and you will get a company directory. Sorry don't have the Postal Code.

When I called to get an extension for my account manager, I asked for her name only to be told that there was no one listed by that name ?? Questionable.

Voluntary wage assignments are exactly that. they are voluntary. If your payroll department receives one, they are to notify the debtor, who has the right to refuse.

Be skeptical and wary of a company who does not list a physical address just an email address, shows a 1-800 number only and not a corporate office number.

These companies listed above are shady, deceptive, unwilling to work with their clients when it comes to paying outstanding accounts. Most of their collectors are not licensed nor do they understand the rules. When I called to complain, I let them know the information that I had found out about them and was put on hold and given to several individuals. All with different names.

the problem is that the voices were the same. I don't forget a voice. Yolanda Williams could be Yolanda Boden, Paul Grehan is Paul Grehan, Kim Dethomas may be Sandy or Lynn thomas, I could go on.

Do you homework on this company, and report them to the proper authorities. Here in Canada, legislation is coming down which will curtail these companies even more. Evil or Very Mad

I believe this is their mailing address, because this address is where there money will be sent to.

I hope this will help out anyone who is dealing with this horrible company.

I believe this is actually just a forwarding address. There is no office located there. The addresses that AngryCanadian posted would be more helpful. Although, any address you use, remember to use certified mail to prove that it got there.

Actually, I had listed on my bankruptcy papers the 18/19 College Green, Dublin, 22222, because I did call Sonic and after serveral attempts trying to get a address.
So, yesterday I was reviewing my bankruptcy case on line and a represenative from Sonic did contact the US bankruptcy trustee court to list their claim and use 234 N James St Newport, DE 19804 adddress.

Those addresses will work. But these are all turn around addresses so their actual location is not disclosed.

From what I have gathered, the US address is just a fowarding address. It'll work, but I do not believe there is no one at that location.

Sonic has given me the run around sooo many times. I finally managed to find out that David Ash was the president...but then I was told he is only the CIO and that Peter Ash is the actual CEO.

I'm on their list now. Anytime I call, Yolanda Williams aka Yolanda Green is to be pulled out from wherever immediately to handle my call.

weird I guess. But since I told her that I was considering legal action, that upset her.

I'm finally finished with this company, but any information I can give would be most beneficial towards others in dealing with this company.
