I'm a new member of the board...and I'm certainly glad I found it! It's sending me in the right direction and I really like how everyone offers advice and supports eachother.
My name is Lindsey; I'm 19 and have been "financially challenged" for about a year now. I can no longer support my shoe and clothing habit 
My financial fiasco is the result of an unplanned hardship; otherwise I have been careful with my money. I'm about $6,000 in debt or so, which isn't TOO bad, but it's tough when your debt to income ratio is a bit high.
On a happier note, I'm a huge KISS fan that enjoys playing guitar and going shopping...when I can afford it.

6K should be very easy to be taken care! Kudos to you for taking the necessary steps before that 6K becomes 26K.

Welcome to the forums. If you take the preventive steps to erase your debts at the earliest, you will be able to see the positive aspects of the debt consolidation program within a short time.
However, we all appreciate your regular postings in the forums offering help to the community. Doing this, many things can be learnt and we all get well informed each single day about so many other activities in the business world.
