Default false charge by T-mobile and assigned collection

I just received a collection notice from Superior Asset Management had been assigned to collect a debt of $181.00 from T-Mobile. I have never done business with T-Mobile on any level. I just lost a job opportunity in the financial sector because this item appearing on my credit report - that cost me a low six figure opportunity. I have attempted contact with T-Mobile and I have sent a dispute notice to Superior. I have been out of work for 9 months and these $#$@'s have caused me financial pain with the o loss of the position that I was offered (and accepted)only to be refused solely based on this mark coming up on my financial background check. I have contacted the 3 credit reporting agencies to have them look into this, but the damage is already done. Even if this false collection is corrected I am still out of a job and I have lost meaningfull employment as a result.

It is very sad that some business agencies can hurt the position of an individual to such an extent. Please do not get discouraged about this as it was somehow written in the destiny.

However, you should fight back and get this negative entry removed from your credit file as early as possible. This way, you will prevent further risk of losing future jobs.

Default RE: false charge

Written in destiny? No, written in fraud with evil intent...I am 30 days away from loosing everything - my assets are dwindling - this job was desparately needed. I don't know what leagal action I can take against SAM and T-Mobile for what they have done to me financialy, but I intend to find out and take them to the cleaners if I can.

You can file your complaints at the local consumer protection office with all the papers of proof. Also, you can lodge your complaints at the FTC, BBB.

I really hope that we should see some actions against these companies with fraudulent intentions. We all have been scammed in one way or the other.

Kathy, lots of consumers here are complaining that Superior Asset Management is assigned to collect debt of T-Mobile which is unknown to them. If you are asked to pay some debt by the company, please ask them to validate it. Without it, you are not legally required to pay it. Do all your correspondence through certified mail with return receipt requested so that you have information about it.

Default Superior Asset Management

This Company has way too many addresses and phone #'s. This is crazy. I want to send them a dispute letter and I don't know which one to use. I have:

348 Miricle Strip Parkway South
FT. Walton Beach, FL 32548

PO Box 4339
FT. Walton Beach, FL 32549-4339

PO Box 5789
Clearwater, FL 33758

So which one do I use? One of these or the one above that a guest found on Better Business Bureau?

Thanks Roxette I ended up sending letters to all the addresses that I had. I'm hoping that at least one out of 5 that I sent they will get it. Thanks again.

Scully

Do keep the CMRRR serial number in safe place. This is a very vital proof of your efforts made. The collection agency is required to respond to your letter and failing which they are not liable to take any actions against you.

Thanks Roxette, Yeah went to the police and filed a report. The police also called wanted to call the attorney to see what proof they had on this and they were jerks about it and so we filed a report. They told me to keep them posted on this case.
