I have several outstanding loans and like so many others I am looking for relief. As it is, next paycheck wiil be gone. I have daughter and can't afford to be homeless or without daycare. Does anyone have any suggestions or know how to get a hold of this BHR or any other debt consolidation company that can help.

I see that one member recomends asking my bank to stop payments. Can I do this?

People will have various opinions depending upon the situation. If you think that stopping a payment will be a helpful move, talk to your bank about this. You will have a charge for the stop payment. I recommend, you should talk to the lender first and explain the problems. They may do some adjustment on your account and you won't have to put a stop payment with your bank. Besides, you need to know the laws of your state before anything goes against you. If you are dealing with storefront lenders, you need to be more careful with them as they usually follow the laws and file up a case against you. Most internet lenders violate the state laws. But without specific information from you, the advice will be given in general.

I have many small outstanding loans by the time they take out each finance charge I will not have a paycheck left. Which means rent won't get payed etc...
I think the stop payments is the only way to get any relief. Do you have any other suggestions?

The payday loans are online. I also received an offer for a debt consolidation for a loan to pay off my debt and have only one payment. The company is Dominion Lending Inc. has anyone herd of it?

Yes.That is how I originally found it,but they're asking for $850 upfront for a to secure the loan. Thay say it will be returned if I make 6 consecutive payments as scheduled.

Balio, I will tell you this, this is a scam. NO company that is lending you money will request money upfront to get approved for the loan. What is going to happen is you will front the $850 and you will left in the cold and they will be off with your money and never to be found again. DO NOT DO IT! It is a SCAM! Many people here have come and posted similar stories and unfortunately found out the hard way they were scammed. Please do NOT fall for this.
