I had a loan with them also. I only had one problem with them and it was an error on their part. They screwed up on a debit and then took more money then they were supposed to. He knocked off $200.00 in supposive fee's and settled my loan for me that day. I guess my expeirence with them wasn't so bad.

Place your cancellation request at the processing department of the financial institution. Send a written request to them and keep a follow up over the phone. Cash Today should notify you after your loan application has been cancelled by them.

Your best move at this time should be contact Cash Today limited and request for the cancellation of this loan. Insist on getting a written statement about the loan being cancelled. This will be an important proof of the relevant facts.

Monitor your bank account very closely. Explain this situation to your bank. They might block CTL if they try to take money from your account.

Confused

Your bank statement must be having a record of all the payments made to Cash Today. Now it will be your best move if you can close your checking account and open a new one. This way, the money will not be able to make any unauthorized debits in your account. Later on Cash Today will contact you for not getting the payment. Get proper details of your accounts and about the money that you have paid so far. You might have paid much more than the owed amount including interests. Ask them to itemize the statement before you will make any payment further. Also, at that time, you can take the help of your bank and place each of the debits on dispute with CTL. They have to verify each of them to your bank.

I need someone who has an address or more info to contact me via email. I am having considerable trouble with them also. Alot of the same ways that are posted here. But they are calling my work and my home even though my voicemail says I am off on medical leave and they know I just had surgery. They are saying I owe $310 more than I orginially got. I already paid back the original amount they gave me. I also called them when someone got my bank card number and was taking out money from my account and I told Cash Today about it and I wanted to set up payments and they said wait until the collection agency calls you. Well now they say they never said that. I need HELP!!!

Swalbourn, involve your bank in this matter. They will verify each of the debits made by CTL and give you a detailed explanation. If any of the debits is not shown accurately, you are likely to get a refund from them. However, you might need to make this claim legally.

It will be better to close your checking account and wait for the company to contact you. You need to have an itemized statement about all the debits before you make any further payment. I think you might need to take some legal counseling in this matter.

I too was in a desperate situation and applied for a $200.00 loan and they have taken out various amounts for 14 weeks ranging from $27 to $337 and now I am forced to close my account because they just keep taking money out. I talked to a rep today and he said I still owe $714. I asked how was that possible and he hung up on me.

Bernadette, I am sad that you have also become a part of this scam with Cash Today. Talk to your bank and close your checking account immediately. This company will continue making the unauthorized debits if the account is kept active. Talk to your bank as they might be familiar with this issue.

Also, your bank can dispute with the company on the debits already made. Each of them has to be verified and if they fail to give a valid explanation, it should be refunded back to you. You can consider taking some legal help also regarding this matter.

I was contacted today by Cash Today, Ltd for a payday loan. Iwrote down the names and numbers of all the companies I contacted, so imagine my surprise when I received a call on my cell phone from London, England!!!! I hung up on them only for them to call back from the same number. Not too smart. I called the toll-free number, 1-800-690-9975, and did a search on the number. Guess what, I actually spoke to the same man who recognized my voice!! It is being routed to a location in Outer London, telephone number, 011-44-2084922780. I hope this helps in your efforts.

The lady with the $279 money order, don't send them a dime. They are fake. I called the company that is listed on the BBB and they are using their information and they don't know anything about them. Go to the BBB.com and put in Cash Today Limited, State is NV and see what comes up. They have had several, a lot of complaints. I wouldn't send them S--T!!!

I have had problems with them also. They have stopped sending me emails and I don't have their email address so I am building up what I owe them. I need to pay them off. They are quite sneaky also because they never explained that the money due was compounded weekly. I read monthly. My stupidity for thinking that I read ALL the tiny print. I am still trying to pay them back. I am in the same boat as you.

Diane
P.S. Thanks to all of you for the suggestions to Linnie. I am going to utilize them also.
