I also just purchased lipozene (for those pesky 20, lol) and now I am getting phone calls from 310-318-0779!! WTF is going on here...I going to call my bank and put a block on any further charges from them and insist on a new card.

Wow! I'm so glad I saw this posting...I was trying to look up the number someone has been calling me from, saw the name/address but wanted to check a bit more. I'll put them in place next time they call...

they said on a message that they were CRC of southern California, and they wanted to tell you about an offer. the mailbox was full. i am just not going to answer! thanks for all the help!

Contact your local attorney general. I work in an industry where we hire people to call people to solicit to them, based on prior business relationships. Because you have a prior relationship, this is legal. But, if you ask to be removed, they must within 24-48 hours. I too have received the calls, asked to be removed and have not received any further calls.

310-318-0779 is some kind of book selling company. They just called me on my cell phone and i answered it and told them i was not interested and to take my name off the call list and they said they would. Just FYI.

I've been getting these same calls at least 4-5 a day when I answer the call nobody is there. It's really getting frustrating and I can't get a hold of them to get them to stop. If anyone is able to get a hold of them let me know how to get a hold of them please. I'll check this post out from time to time, thank you, kimo

i've gotten those calls too. i've also read they are a company out of redondo beach, ca called CRC of Calif. and known for shady deals and continued harassing phone calls. i'm staying as far awary from them as possible....

just received a call from the same number 310-3180779 2 days ago and 2x yesterday, they look for my husband but when i told him his not around, they hang up. when my husband called them last night, it went to voice mail.

i was searching for the information of that number and it lead me to this link. i was surprised when i looked at the date of the first post was 2 yrs ago.

i wonder how many people have been victimized by these scammers..

debt collectors do a little trick called "skip tracing".

Basically, if you have filled out other forms that you have put information on that they have, they use skip tracing to get this form and get any other relevant info off to reach you. Some of these forms are readily and legally available, like some government records. Here's a site that talks more about skip tracing - pretty informative:

They called me sevaral times today!!! All i know is that it is in,manhattan beach california...I looked up the phone number and it showed two names at the same address...It was J and susan Anderson...I have no idea who they are...

I have been doing some research on the internet, like you always can. And got a little something, eventhough it may not be that much help.

"Googleing" Susan Anderson, the name that comes up for the number, apparently is a romance writer. So, the company is probably for a novel publishing company.

I recieved there call about a week ago and didn't pick up because I was at work and then yesterday I recieved another call from them. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I have no idea how they got my number.
