Which song are your listening to these days?
for me it is "Radiohead - Creep" to be followed by "Radiohead- wish you were here" and "REM - shiny happy people".
Also I am enjoying "Rage against the machine - matrix theme".

I am always fond of some everlasting love songs. They never fade away. They just come to my ears and I always feel relaxed.

I love posts like these
Lately, I've been in a Stevie Ray Vaughan phase. Nothing like a little Texas Blues to get you through a day

My daughter has her "Rent"soundtrack playing, its now on Seasons of Love.I love broadway music,I guess thats because my daughter is always singing it.She is in mads and jazz choir at her high school.I love classical and instumental, but I still like to listen to the old songs from the 60s,70s,and 80s.

Is he considered country? It seems more like folk. Pretty relaxing stuff

Ben, are you depressed? LOL!
You have a great taste in music
Today for me, it was Great White's greatest hits, Kix, and Def Leppard. Definitely a hairband day

When I listen these songs in the loudest volume to catch the metallic beats, my mom says that 'you will break your head someday.
I just get carried away...there is so much of emotion hidden in all the songs. Guess, how the composers feel when they put in pen to paper.

LMAO ben! The neat thing about 80's "pop rock" like Bon Jovi, Enuff Znuff, Poison, Bryan Adams, etc...they focused on beat. The songs were made to be fun, something you could definitely rock out to! So they are best listened to at highest volume...until mom tells you to turn it down...or threatens to toss your stereo/guitar/records out the window
I just wouldn't bang to Slayer or "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead...THEN you WILL break your head! LOL!
Power ballads of the 80s conveyed a lot of emotion. You felt the emptiness of lost love or heartbreak, but the driving guitar force and drum beats made you REALLY feel the pain. It's like they used their instruments to give you a sense of emotional feel. Very neat concept!

Well riding into work this morning I was listening to County Crows. My boyfriend thinks it is sucide music, but I love it. It is Adam Durtz-sp? voice. My favorite song is Anna Begins track #5 on the cd August and Everything After!

I find people here having very reserved identity. All vote for the oldies.
Are there any fans of the latest hits of Britney Spears or J.Lo or the Shaggy style...

Hmmm...well, I was OBSESSED with the Backstreet Boys when I was 13-15...so I think I did my time in the Pop Music jail
I like some of the new pop, like Black Eyed Peas Christina Aguilera had some good tunes too.
But I will always be a little metalhead
