Hi,

Welcome to the forums, we are Sorry we do not deal with Medical Bills. Medical Bills comes under unsecured debts but it is quite different kind to deal with.

We advice you to call up the respective parties and let them know the current position, also ask for a simpler deal.

Hi guest,

I Will try to lay out how I would deal with medical Collections.

Contact your Original HC provider and explain your situation, most are more then willing to deal with you.

NEVER ask a CA to Validate a Medical Collections account or you maybe givng them permission to view/handle your "Private medical Information" used to process billing.

Other things to keep in mind is did thay properly bill your insurrance co. if you had one. If so then you are only liable for the Part they did not pay. Most Insurance Co.'s will accept claims up to a year old, but after that will not process them and if not filed in a timely manner may also not be collected from you if it is in their agreements with the HC.

maybe start with the "smallest" bills first to get the most off your report...pay in full to the Original HC provider and ask for them to remove from collections and CR.

Hi Guest,

If you have a regular flow of income, then you can start paying it slowly and steadily every month. All your dues will be reducing each month and at one point of time, it will get completely paid off.

If you have no other choice left, then you can use this method. I hope that it will certainly work. Instead of putting it in a standstill, I suggest you to let the payment flow. Let it be slowly but surely Very Happy
