Angela, do you want the contact number of SJM Marketing? Their number is 1-866-722-2770. Talk to them and make arrangements regarding your loan. The V.P. of that company sounds helpful. You can discuss your situation and make suitable payment arrangements. Once you have paid the account, your credit file will be updated and this will improve your scores. Talk to them freely and they will help you out.

Call SJM Marketing at 1-866-722-2770 and inquire about the debits done in your account. Take the help of your bank also and dispute with the company. Once your dispute is dispute is received by SJM, they need to clarify the transaction. If they fail to respond, show proof to your attorney and file a case against SJM. You can also report this matter to the FTC, BBB as well as the local AG's office with proof of the matter.

I took a payday loan from sjm marketing. During that time my account was compromised and my bank suggested that I close it and open another. My payment was due on the first of the month. On the 7th I recieved a call from someone who told me she worked for Bass Ent. and charges were being filed against me because I took federal money and did not pay it back. She told me that these people were loan sharks and I took federal funds without my knowledge. All of this for a payment that is 6 days late. This is horrible, I am a single mom and can't believe I got in this much trouble wiht a $200 loan. Any advice on what to do

Denise, you can do the payment arrangements with SJM Marketing directly without dealing with any CA. I don't think you should trust them because of the way they are doing the collections, making threats. If they pursue to pay, get the debt validated first. You need to know if they really have your file. Oh, call SJM Marketing and propose your payment plan.

Denise do a search on here for sjm. The vice president Josh Mitchem gave his number to call for anybody having trouble with this company. Give him a call. KYSIDE38

My wife took a $250.00 pdl from SJM Marketing on September 21, 2006, since this time and up to June 8, 2007 we had $75.00 taken from our account bi-weekly for a total of over $1,380.00. We have made over 10 attempts telephonically using the numbers off of here for SJM/Platinum B and have not received a single call back from Dustin or anyone else. On top of this, over 5 attempts at e-mailing Dustin were also made without a single response. Now as of today, I received a very harassing/threatening phone call from Bass & Associates who as it turns out is the CA that this account was turned over to. I was threatened with fraud charges, etc. and told by a Malcolm Smith (sp) that he is just trying to enforce the Constitution that was written in 1776. First off the Constitution was not written nor ratified until after 1780, but I didn't feel the need to correct him on this point, as I am a soldier in the US Army and have defended that Constitution since 1987.
I have read many posts on these threads including some from supposed SJM executives "concerned" with their customers and pointing out how to take care of matters. Like I said, over 15 attempts were made by my wife and I to resolve this matter and not a single response!! I also like how whenver asked, a physical/mailing address has never been provided for SJM! Hmmmmmm!!! I wonder about that one!!

I got pre-approved for a loan over the internet and SJM Marketing was the first to contact me. When they told me the transaction fee I said NO to the loan and they said they would cancel it. Well they did not cancel it. It went into my back account on monday. I have been trying to contact them. Calling number after number never getting ahold of someone. I tried calling that Platinum B services and funny thing they said that they are no part of SJM Marketing even though a lot of these complaints I am seeing say they are. So I am unsure what to do??? I said NO and they did it anyways. The only thing I can think to do is close my checking account and maybe then someone might call me???
