Hi there I am VERY new to this forum and I am not sure how the point system thing works. Is there a site that I can look at to help me more understand it and how to redeem my points ? I'm not from the US, will i still be able to be helped here ? but I really like this forum because now I know that there are more average joe people that are going through the same thing as I who is in deep debt =(

You earn DebtCC points for every post done in the forums. One point is worth one cent and you will be able to redeem when you have a minimum total of $10, i.e.. 1000 points. Write a PM to Mike or Vikas and they will do the redemption.

Yes, you also can be a good part of this forum and interact with everyone. Start sharing your suggestions and comments in the different forums. Keep in touch.

I have learned so much from this site. There are things addressed here in depth that some of the books I have don't even cover.

In one post I read "You can also multiply your points by offering community help to our members in need.". I was wondering if there is a page that describes this further. I would like to know what kinds of help can be offered, how people find or offer help, etc.

Thanks,
Mike

One you have already started getting through the forum posts. Every time you post, some points are added on to your account. You can redeem into cash later. Read the community help programs this website offers to the members.

Hi Guest,

Once you are a member here, points will start adding in your account after every post. Then you will be able to use those points to donate others or redeem it for your self. Since you are not registered yet, there are no points in your account. Registration is very simple. Just sign up here.

Hi James,

As far as I know, nothing has changed on the point system recently. Every time you post (anywhere except the Pub) you earn points. If you look under your name, you will see how many points your currently have. Also, if you want to donate points to another member, just hit the donate button on their name and it goes from there. You can also cash in your points for $$ which is a nice feature of this forum. Most of us just pm Mike or Vikas when we are ready to do this. I hope this helps
