Welcome to the forum.
According to the FDCPA a Collection Agency has to maintain a certain code of decorum while collecting debts. Violating those rules is a punishable act. The Collection Agency is strictly forbidden to threaten, harass or use abusive or profane language while collecting debts. If they do so, you can sue them in court for a maximum amount of $1000.This can be done within a span of one year from the day the debt collector has violated the rules.

Moreover, when you are eager to pay back your debts there is no reason whatsoever as to why they should even dream of suing you. However, don't worry, for the law is at your side and nobody can harm you. If things get worse, then you can always take the help of an attorney.
Feel free to come to us for any further assistance and hope you share your experience and insight with the other members of the forum.
Regards,
Jason
