I disagree, all the payday loans i have had me sign a wage attachment for if i fail to complete my obligation in repaying my loans.
I know in some states they have to have a court order to garnish but I personally know that in ohio that is not the case, Sonic Payday has used the wage attachment and monies are coming out of my paycheck now and no court has ordered it. I called my payroll people and they told me that they have my signature stating my permission for the attachment.
With every loan i have there has always been a wage attachment. maybe you should first see if a wage attachment has you signature on it, then find out if your state requires a court order for wage garnishments.
If anyone knows if i can get my wage attachment stopped on my own and how, please let me know.
Thanks,
Rich

Have they taken this to court yet?
Only way to garnish your wages is by getting a judgement against you in a court.
