Hey All!!

As we are heading towards the New Year 2006, we all feel to renew our bond of love once again with our nearest and dearest ones. The youngsters expect delightful gifts from us. Some of us accept gifts in the form of good wishes and some consider it as a lucky charm for the coming year. Caring about these sentiments, when you think about gifts for someone special, be a bit careful while choosing it. It is not the price of the gift or something flashy that is important here, it is about the emotions and love you feel for that person.

Most of us consider New Year to be the perfect time to make resolutions. You can inspire a person by purchasing some gift that motivates him. For example, if my brother loves to play baseball, I will think of buying a baseball bat or something relevant that inspires him. If your sister loves music, she will feel happy if you buy the instrument she plays. This will revive his/her passion.

You can also look for some gift baskets available in the open stores. I doubt if there is anyone who does not like chocolates, cookies, gourmet snacks etc. This way, all the family members will also share the happy moments and be a part of it.

Wrap the gift in a creative manner and accompany it with some fresh flowers so that the fragrance leaves a greater impact.

Regards
Roxette

For Christmas I got my whole family one gift. It was to get our family portrait taken. I got a good deal on a gift certificate that is 59.99 for as many people and it includes the sitting fee and 5 photo sheets. So I ended up spending 60 bucks on 7 people which is less than ten bucks a person. Plus it will be a fun day to spend time with the fam and go get our picture taken. Everyone loved it!

Sarah, if you wish to show your snaps to the community, it can be uploaded here. I think I will have to take permission from Vikas about it. I will confirm it and will let you know.

How about uploading it as an avatar?

Oh cool let me know! Can you upload pictures if you create a blog? I also have another question...how do you put a signature on your posts? I see everyone has a line and a quote under it or a saying and I'm not sure how to do it.
