Cach LLC showing unprofessional attitude - How to handle it?

You also need to check with the state attorney general's office and make sure that these guys are licensed to collect in your state. They cannot take you to court from their state. They must come to you, and take you to court in your home town/state. If they are not licensed to do so, then they have to hire someone. The guys that represent CACH have been known to lie to scare people, then not follow through with their lies. That sounds like a scare tactic. If you cannot afford to pay their arrangement, then all you can do is wait for a judgement. Look at budhibbs.com, he has a link to free legal help.

Hello,

I received word from the lawfirm of Trauner, Cohen & Thomas, LLP in regards to a two-year old debt from Providian. TCT mentions CACH, LLC placed the matter in the lawfirm's hands. Can you help me with whomever CACH, LLC is?

Thanks,

winluck Mad

Winluck, call the company with whom you have the original debt. If the payments are accepted directly by the OC, you can avoid dealing with the CA. Don't pay anything to the collector until the debt is validated with complete information.

I sent my debt validation letter certified, with a return receipt and the letter clearly stated to not call me at work or home, it was signed by someone at the law firm on the 18th and they still called me AT WORK on the 18th and again this morning!

Thanks Christina. I have been doing some research on both CACH and Trauner Choen & Thomas. The firm has been sued at least six times this year alone for unfair practices. (www.stopcollectionabuse.com)

They have up to 30 days to honor the letter and stop calling you (I think). Most stop immediately. Keep track of all calls on a log, write down date/time of call every time, and the number they call from or what comes on the caller ID. Then after 30 days if it continues, contact your state attorney general's office and the FTC.

So, this has put them on violation of one of the FDCPA laws. Go ahead and file a class action lawsuit against the company. The court will legally ask them to pay you for the damages after you win the case.

After recieving any letter stating not to call you back the collection agency can only call you one additional time to state that further calls will not be placed to you or to tell you what action there going to take. they have only a 30 day grace period to make that call. so if they call you a couple days after reciept of that letter then call you again in a week they are in violation of the FDCPA. Contact your state attorneys office with your documentation

I had this CACH LLC post a notice in our local paper under civils that they are listing a case: CACH LLC vs Randal G Hinds, my husband. I cannot recall receiving a letter from this company, and I don't know how to find out what this means. Does anyone have any comments?

I was receiving calls from Scott P Lowery and I checked my credit report and I couldn't figure out what I owed them for. I sent them a debt validation letter and haven't heard from them since. Now I was just recently told that Bronson & Magliaccio are trying to contact me and I have 30 days to submit a debt validation letter or they are going to sue me. They don't even know where I live. I live over 500 miles from where they sent the letter, atleast Scott P Lowery contacted me by phone. I will send them a debt validation letter, because it is for a debt that I never even heard of. I know that it's not something I forgot about, I'm poor and I would remember owing someone $1300. My question is that after doing research I found that there are over 25 Lawyers that try to rip people off:

Law Office of Sam W. Streeter, Houston, TX
Richard G. & Catherine A. Neuheisel Law Firm, Tempe, AZ
Neuheisel Law Firm, Deborah Sue Harvego, Sacramento, CA
Law Office of Thomas K. Bamford, Dallas, TX
Harold E. Scherr, Attorney at Law, Longwood, FL
Bronson and Migliaccio Attorneys, Williamsville, NY
Bronson and Migliaccio Attorneys, Elmwood Park, NJ
Phillips and Cohen and Associates, Westampton, NJ
Law Office of Larry Roach, Copley Twp, OH
Phillip Scott Lowery P.C., Denver, CO
Law Office of Brian K. Levy, Phoenix, AZ
Law Office of J. Anthony Cambece, Boston, MA
Workman Law Office, P.A., Jacksonville, FL
Collect America, LTD, Denver, CO
Gamache and Myers, St Louis, MO
P. Scott Lowery, P.C., Tulsa, OK
Law Office of Wilfred E. Briesemeister, Montclair, CA
Harrison Ross Byck, Morrisville, PA
Daniels & Norelli, P.C., Westbury, NY
Davis Law Office, Russell A. Davis, Solana Beach, CA
Richard DeJana & Associates, Kalispell, MT
Dennis Michael Dendy Law Office, Gretna, LA (Houston TX)
John P. Frye, P.C., Roanoke, VA
Daniel N. Gordon, P.C., Eugene, OR
Mims, Jerry M., Attorney, Islip Terrace, N
Pentagroup Financial, LLC, James J. Thorpe, Attorney, Houston, TX

What do you do to stop them from coming after you.....this is ridiculous? Oh and I looked up the place that they said I have a debt with and the bank was sued for lying to consumers. I have never heard of them, they showed up under 2 different names: Bank of Marin and Capital One. They said I owe Bank of Marin, who is in Las Vegas and I live clear on the other side of the country in DE. What do you do to stop them?

I also received a letter from a lawyer sent to them by Cach, LLC. I tried and tried to get in contact with the lawyers office to resolve the matter and no one would call me back. Now they have put a judgment against me and this is not my fault, I tried to resolve it. I plan to take my phone records to the court house to show that I tried to call and resolve it, but noone would call me back. I hope CACH know what crappy lawyers they were using. NEVER USE SESSOMS AND ROGERS LAW FIRM FOR ANYTHING. THEY WON'T CALL BACK.

I have received a letter of debt collection from the Cambece law firm in association with CACH, LLC for collection of a debt owed to Tractor Supply. This debt has been sold three times, but the statute of limitations doesn't run out until next year. I want to pay Tractor Supply, but I don't know if I can trust this law firm. They want me to send postdated checks and I want a guarantee that they won't sell this debt again for recollection and I don't have a clue what to do. thanks for your quick reply.
