Thought I'd put my 2 cents worth on here, since this is the only place I've been able to find any mention of them...
I too received a payday loan from Arrowhead Investments. Previous to the due date, I received a letter, informing me that if I needed to refinance the loan, no action was necessary - it would refinance automatically on the due date, adding a refinance charge to the priciple amount.
I didn't call them, intending to refinance due to unforseen circumstances.
Having delt with loan companies before, I ASSUMED the refinance charge would be tacked on to the priciple, as I was informed.
What ended up happening was: they debited my checking account for the refinance fee ($60), leaving me with a negative balance.
I was not contacted previous to the debit, nor was I informed by Arrohead that they had, in fact, taken this action. My bank was polite enough to call.
When I contacted Arrowhead, questioning this practice, I was told by Cassandra Tillmon ("General Manager") that I was "an idiot for thinking you could just keep my money and not pay it back!"
She screamed at me, called me an idiot more than once, and refused to point out where the debiting agreement was cited in the Terms and Agreement (which I had printed out when I was approved for the loan).
Finally, when I said I was contacting my lawyer in reguards to their unethical, and possibly illegal, practices, she relented with an agreement to pay back JUST the original $200, on what was already listed as my next payday.
My bank was a bit less than helpful informing me that they could not stop payment on a completed transaction, and that if I owed a loan company money & had given them my account information, I had basicly authorized them to "do what they will" with my checking account.
Needless to say, I have indeed contacted my lawyer, and am in the process of filing a complaint with the SEC Lender's Association.

Brenda,

This is not the actual loan company. This is forum were people discuss financial and other situations. You may have did a google search for Arrowhead and cam across this website. I would also do some research and read through these forums if I were you and you may change your mind about going through with that loan you requested. If you need to contact them, the number is listed in this forum. I believe this may be the correct one, 866-355-7308

I fell into the same trap with them debiting my account each month for $90 a pop. Went on for six months. Tried to find info on this company, no luck. Called back and ordered a stop on account. Arrowhead never contacted me, sent my info to a collector and now I am being threatened with court action on three different counts. Internet fraud, bad check writing, and insufficient funds. Collector trying to negotiate a payoff to avoid court, I am being told to settle immediately and wire money and case will be exonerated. I have never gotten anything but phone calls, no written statements. Is this legit?

Nope, the collection agency is trying to scare you into paying them the money. Ask for validation of the debt and let them know you won't be sending money until you revieve that. By law they are required to verify the debt in writing when requested. There is no way these companies will step foot into a court room and try to sue, because half of them are illegal anyway. If they don't cooperate with you then defiantly do as everybody else is encourgaed to do....file a complaint with your attorney general.

Sheri Savory,
This is not the site to Arrowhead...this is a website that discusses financial issues, including those problems that people have had with Arrowhead. Do a search on this site about arrowhead and it may change your mind about wanting to get that loan.

This address is the actual address.

Arrow head Investments, Inc.
1219 Lydia Ave.
Kansas City, MO 64106
Telephone 1-866-355-7308

I am on the phone with them now and they are a company that only mentions their contact info once. If you do not keep this information sent through the regular mail, they will keep withdrawing. I talked to the woman who owns or manages the company. She is working with me to pay in full the loan. I am to send in money orders. Just tell them that you closed your account and they will work with you.

Any one stupid enough to let it go for 18 monthes, should pay those fees. Save your mail, send in the money and get rid of these money making scheme companies. I can own a pay day loan company too. Just start out with $1000 and give it out to many people. Then start pulling $75.00 out of their accounts.

I suggest that you call them and speak to them personally. Their number is 1-866-355-7308

A good pay day loan company is Route 66 Lending. I am also involved with them. They constantly contact you over the phone to see how you are and where you stand as a customer. Trust no other. Their number is 1-877-564-7738. If you absolutely need a pay day loan. Call these people.

Please search on the Google search bar on the right side of this page - search on Rt. 66 on this site and find out what others have to say. They most certainly are NOT a good company to deal with.

neatclean - if you've had a good experience with Rt. 66, I'm very happy for you, but you are definitely in the minority here. Everyone else who has dealt with them and reported on them to this site has had nothing but trouble getting them to stop debiting their bank account, and to stop harrassing them with telephone calls at home and work. The majority of their "customer service" staff are rude, verbally abusive, and violate the fdcpa at every turn. They are unlicensed in most of the United States, and therefore, are lending illegally. They do rollovers where no rollovers are allowed, and charge much higher interest than is allowed in most states. They flat-out refuse to issue debt validations when requested in writing or over the phone, and insist they follow the laws of the UK, when it's been proven that they don't. They are also difficult to contact by phone - if you don't happen to be available when they call you, you can't reach them by phone (unless you happen to be fortunate enough to catch someone picking up the phone - most of the time it's a voice mail that goes unanswered, even if you leave a message), and sending an e-mail asking to pay off your loan doesn't work either.
