I have had no trouble with this company. Maybe I was lucky. Either way, I will not get involved with these companies again. I tried them, it helped around Christmas but now I have to pay more. Yes that is true. However, Route 66 is the easiest to get out of. Atleast I can contact them. The nicest customer service representative over there is Norman. Like I said, maybe I was lucky but my only advice is do not use a pay day loan ever. If you need money, get a regular loan or borrow from your mother. It is best to stay away from all of them.

If you don't mind my asking - how much was your loan for? And what state do you live in?

Do you mean to keep the loan going? Yes I have. I have paid just about the whole 200 already in just rollovers and now to pay the loan off, I need the 325. Why?

This is why payday loans are a bad idea. If you've already paid $200 back, which was the principal (but they call it "rollover fees"), and they are asking for $325 more, you are getting hammered.

yes I am. That is why arrowhead is a bad idea. Any payday loan is a bad idea. I wish I never got involved with any of them.

neatclean - learning from the mistake of payday loans is one big step towards becoming debt free. I've had my own experience with the payday loan trap, with Rt. 66 being one of them - and the worst experience I had was with that company. The others were a walk in the park compared to them.

Like I said, I may have been lucky. I am not having a problem with Rt 66. I spoke to a guy named Norman and told him that I am now unemployed. He said "okay, I will give you until February 8th, and then you pay it in full. I only owe 2oo. That is the same that I borrowed. I am lucky, I guess. I never have a problem getting in touch with them and with me going back to work this week, I should be okay. I will be much better if I get the hell out of the borrowing stage and get into the investment stage again. I am very hesitant on cashing in my stocks right now. I am still holding off. Good thing, cause then they would be gone today.

I have been in default only 2 weeks so far. I go back to work this week and will be paying it in full on the 8th. Never again.

I have a local phone number to this company it is 9133833225. They are a complete rip off. I spoke with them an told them they are impossible to find and she tried to tell me they were the fourth listin down if you goggle them. it was my first time doing a payday loan and I will NEVER do it again. I have filed a complaint with the AG. They don't fully explain the process and I told her they never sent me anything in the mail confirming or proof of the loan other than the appliction which was all online. Hindsight is definitely 20/20 for me with this fiasco!!

Fourth listing on a google search, for what???

The girl has no sales pitch in her tone. Google algos change every week and a business cannot be judged on the basis of search engine results. Real satisfied customers make the business reputed.

Just like others on here, I recieved a phone call eariler today stating that I owe 763.90 on a 350.00 loan. I never received a phone call, email or a letter. I did exactly what is stated on the message broad. I asked for a debt validation and they told me that they can not send it. They will send it to me after I make the payment. They want me to pay them half today. I told them that I will not be able to do that until next week. They informed me that at 2 o'clock they will the paperwork with my state and I will have to get a lawyer. Can they threaten me with that?

Above most things the supervisor was so nasty too me. She couldn't tell the correct information regarding my account.

What can I do? I do agree that I owe for the 350 but not 763.90. I will pay it but you have to prove to me that I owe all that money. She said that they can only prove that I owe for the 350. I have don't payday loans before but this was the first time that fee's were so much.

HELP!!!!
