| This company account appeared on my credit report; however, I paid this account in full some time ago, and I would like to write to this company to ask them to close this account so it reflects as such on my report. Thank you! |

| I guess ...if we have memberships with EQUIFAX, EXPERIANS,COMSUMERINFO, ETC....they should have a certain way to protect us from CREDIT FRAUD like VISDNB... I am currently in trouble with VISDSNB now. last night they send a negative report ( late payment)to CREDIT BEAUREAU- EXPERIAN against me.......It is so painful... |

| I just copied my credit report and also have VISDSNB on it with the same address as Macy's but I have a phone number 800-267-8472. I have not tried it yet so don't know if it is a good number but will do soon. Hope it helps |

I agree that it is just another account (not necessarily a card, but an account linked with big department stores. I found it on my credit report and noticed it was opened the exact same day as my Bloomingdales card.
The balance for my VISDSNB is $0 at the moment so I will probably not worry about it unless/until that changes or I decide to cancel my Bloomingdales card. |

| Thanks to all the good leads from everyone. I figured out VISDSNB on my report is Macy's furniture I bought which shows up as Federated Stores. |

| I got MCYDSNB on my credit report with the same address as everyone has posted. I called experian and they put my account on watch. Do you think I should contact them or should I wait for a response from Experian first? |

| Call them. They should be able to close just the Visa, leaving the Macy's open. |

| I have both MCYDSNB and VISDSNB on my credit report as well. I do have a Macy's account, and the account numbers match up. However, the VISDSNB account was opened (unknowingly) more than a year after the Macy's account was opened. Tricky...tricky... |

I just pulled up my credit report and had the same info regarding VISDSNB and think this might be in direct correlation to opening a Macy's card at about the same time.

I also found MCYDSNB as open on my credit report although I never signed up for such card. After finding this site and reading the above entries - I wonder if my OLD Meier & Frank store card triggered it. Meier & Frank was purchased by the Federated Stores sometime before Macy's stepped in.
I guess, Macy's has extended the credit that I really do not want! I will cancel and dispute it. |
