Just now I read the news that a 17 year old high school student in Boston complained to the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights. He has accused that his school authorities discriminate against boys and treat girls to be more superior.

This boy, Doug Anglin says that the girls are never punished even after doing some unfair things. Moreover, they are encouraged to perform better than boys in their academics. The name of the school is Milton High School. It's in Massachusetts. It's natural that the school will defy this complaint.

Now, the office of the Civil Rights is engaged in this matter and is evaluating the complaint.

The principal got perplexed on this complaint and says that all such remarks are baseless.

Educational institutions are one of the prestigious institutions and if such incidences bring them to the cover story, it's a sad story for America in front of the world. What do you say??

That's so sad if his school is discriminating!

Every time I hear a story like this I feel so blessed that I graduated from the school that I did. It's a fairly small town, and no one was made to be any better than anyone else. Even the "Special Ed" kids were in gym class and some other classes with us. No one made fun of anyone, and everyone was treated as an equal.

Even the college I went to was very small. Almost like a family. And what I loved was that every instructor in that school knew my name.

If I (or anyone) needed anything at either school all we had to do was ask.

I hope this school takes a good hard look at their actions. Kids are so impressionable, and their education EXPERIENCE is one thing they will never forget.

Algebra however is one exception. EEK!
