If anyone out there has any information (i.e. phone number, address, etc) on this company, it would be greatly appreciated here on my end. Thank you.

Thank you so much John. I called the number that you have given to me, and it's the correct number. I have a payment plan all set up with them, and he told me not to even worry about the scammers that are calling me because they aren't legit at all.

That's a real good news. Now, if the collection agency calls you back, send them a written statement that you are paying directly to your OC and keep a copy of it in your file for records. Send your letter certified.

I called them back myself and was told nothing more. I don't think that he knew what to say. But really, how do I send them a letter if I don't even have an address for them?

I am coming up with an address of this company "United Federal Bank". Internet searches are not giving me any specific address and I have failed to locate them at the BBB.

Browse the pages below, if you can get some info.

Thank you again John. I looked at both of them and it seems as if the United Federal Bank is the same as Jacobi & Mayors, Anthony Galloway, etc. It doesn't surprise me either. It sounded like the same exact thing!

I just got a second call from United Federal Bank, again threatening me with ligitation. I looked through this site and foung the number for First Creidt Services (732-726-5692) and I made arrangements with them. They also told me not to take any more calls from United Federal Bank

Thanks for the great info on this site

Mauraclegg, after your arrangement is made with First Credit Services, United Federal Bank must not collect anything from you or make a collection call to you. The original creditor needs to notify them if they place you a call. Since there is no more reason to call you further, send a cease and desist letter to United Federal Bank if they call you again. After receiving your letter, the company must not call you again or else you can file legal charges against them for violating the fdcpa laws.
