United Cash Loans will not take legal action against you. They are blow hards that think they are above the law. They think by threatening people they will win, but in all honesty, all it does is make people fight back. You need to file a complaint against them with the Attorney General of Oklahoma. If you have the funds available to pay this loan off, then I suggest getting it paid as soon as possible.

They just called me and said they were just letting me know that they were "processing futher" my account. And gave me a "case number" and a phone number to call back if I wanted to stop this action. They're so full of it.

same situation here in New Mexico. I don't know now if I'm dealing with united cash loans or ameriloan or rio resources--I had loans with each, I have a letter from ameriloan saying it was paid in full and arrangements with what I thought was united cash loans, but now I got my first threatening phone call. Do they have rights to prosecute in New Mexico?

I got my bank to stop payments to United Cash. I am in Oregon. I couldn't find any way to get ahold of them until now. I immediately had a phone message to call 800-354-0602, plus an email with attached documents they want me to sign! Forget that! They don't have a leg to stand on!

I received a call from them stating that they are going to take further action against me since I have no intention of paying them. That is not the case, I have ever intention of paying them I just can't do it now. I am trying hard to keep a roof over my families head.

How can I go about finding out if they are licensed in my state? Do anyone have sample letters that they can send me of what to send them and the attorney general.

Thank you

You can check with your division of financial institutions or consumer protection office to see if they are licensed in your state. You should be able to check this online.

I need help! I had a payday loan with United Cash loans, via internet and I paid over 800 dollars for a 300 dollar loan. I had 15 dollars left on the balance, i let them take it out, then I closed my account. Six months later, I am getting a threating calls from a guy named Jason telling me to have my attorney call him because I am being filed action against. This mornign I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to call them, and no one answers. Each time I wait exactly 5 min, 22 sec, and then I get disconnected. What can I do? Is this something I should be worried about?

This guy called me today and did not tell me where he was calling from. I called the number and the message doesnt say where I'm calling either. I googled the phone number and found this site. I dont even know who United Cash Loans is. I have never had a payday loan with them. Are they a collection agency? They have my name and phone number, but I've never even heard of this and after the reading these posts, I dont even know if I want to talk to these people.

Last week I received a collection call from this number and a woman named Alexandria had called me trying to collect $65.00 measly dollars from me. She also stated that she did not want this to go any father in collection than it is now. Hmmmm.. The creditor/payday lender United Cash loan which I had a loan with them back in 2004 and had filed chapter 7 bankruptcy back in December 2004 and it has been since discharged. At the time, I used a Nevada mailing address for United Cash Loans to send this paperwork to their office. I filed United Cash Loans under the bankruptcy petition and I told her this, She claimed that do not have the bk paperwork for this. I had read this forum and understand that the Nevada address is no longer valid and they are using a Miami, OK address. Also, I tried to e-mail them my BK information using the e-mail address she provided me which is collectiondept(at)500fastcash.com and when I attempted to do that the e-mail bounced back to me so it is invalid.

She provided me with her direct telephone number of 800-430-2740 Ext 577 and a fax number of 800-470-6785. I will fax this information to her or associate including the bk info and as well as my attorney's name for which this was filed under.

The word to the wise, stay away from PDL's because this puts you in financial ruin if you are not careful. The PDL industry thinks that they are doing you a favor by advancing you X amount of monies but you have to pay it back with interest and fees and other charges. I live in VA so the there are a whole lot of PDL Lenders probably within a 5 mile radius from where I live and that include that car Title loans as well. I think that is worst thing to do is to put those PDL Lenders on every corner or for the simple fact that they even exist at all. I know from my own personal experience. If you need monies that bad, I would suggest either working 2nd job, borrow from friends or relatives, or budget your money wisely. I hope that this message would help somebody out there. Thank you!

I had A payday loan thru this company. It is a bit tricky on how they due the loans. I don't know if they ever had sent anyone an email but they use to email me every two weeks with a new loan agreement. Which gave me options to pay down the loan with interest and some principal or pay the whole loan in full. I appreciated the fact that every two weeks they would do this. I didn't really have any other problems with pay day loans, including PaydayOk. Unfornately when I used Arrowhead things were a little different. Now I am dealing with Bass & Associates. Sorry to hear your having problems with United Cash Loans.

Hi Calvin.

I paid on United for 7 months, and I always paid on time. I got those emails, too. Eventually I started paying down...$50 toward the principal every two weeks. I got the amount of the loan down to $50 plus finance charges, then I defaulted. I never heard a word from them, even when I sent them letters and emails. I heard all kinds of horror stories, but I never got a single call, and the reminder emails stopped coming. Months went by, and I sent them a letter demanding my loan be marked paid in full..And I never heard back. It's been 11 months since I defaulted, I think they figured they got their money from me.

hey finsfan.
Looks like we will be rooting against each other this T-day. I am a Lions fan. Anyways, You might want to check your credit report and make sure they have screwed with that. But at least you to the right steps to end the problem. Did you send the letter certified? Just curious cause I am going to do the same with Bass & Associates.
