Contact your Attorney General. In many states they are not legal. File a complaint with the AG and have lawyers call them to discuss jail time.

Fax number for these loan sharks is 800-470-6785. You can fax them a letter telling them not to contact you except in writing and the calls will stop.

I have proof that I paid these clowns in full - not just the renewals, but the principal - yet they still continued to call me. I put an end to the calls by faxing as above a letter - they did stop calling.

Good luck. Hope that people see these boards and think twice before taking out payday loans. Biggest mistake of my life.

I took out a payday loan and was to pay it back by using my checking account. But unitedcash loans were taking too much money from my account so that left me with a outstanding balance on my checking account.
