c38nfrnt, I hope someone else will be able to tell you about this number. I didn't get any specific results while I searched for this number. If this number is not of much importance, you can get it blocked by your phone company.

My husband got called from this number twice this morning. Some woman named "Mary" left a msg and said "I rec'd your file in my office this morning and need to have you update your information." It came across my caller ID as unavailable the first time and as the 877 number the second time.

The number belongs to a collection agency called I.C. Systems.

According to the BBB, they have several offices scattered throughout the US. The 800# that is calling you, is probably the office that is handling "your file". I would inquire to the calls, and see if you can clear it up.

Quote:
"I.C. System, a privately owned company founded in 1938, is a nationwide provider of accounts receivable management services. I.C. System performs collections for clients in numerous industries, including healthcare, retail, education, government, telecommunications, commercial, utility, and financial services. Headquartered in St. Paul MN, I.C. System has offices in Florida, Iowa, and North Dakota."

That is a collection agency called IC Systems. They called my job 9 times today and let it ring once and hung up. We use *69 and that was the number that we got. They told us that they would call until he could get in touch with me. He said he was unable to reach me at the number he had on file, and at the address. I just laughed at him.
