I got the same call yesterday. The guy told me I have been approved for a credit card and they will be sending it in the mail. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about. So he just said "well have a good day" and hung up. Today he called back! I told my boyfriend about it and he answered and...well, lets just say he won't be calling back.

I recieved a call on my "home phone" from this number. After seeing the plethora of complaints with this number on this forum, is there any way I can have this number traced by the local authorities? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

I also recieved a call twice today at work from two different people. One male the other a female stating that i was recently denied credit from some one and that i was approved for a credit card that would allow me to get cash advances and so forth. When i asked the young lady what kind of card was this she could not tell me. I then told her that i was not compfortable with giving out my finiancial information. Well later today at work i recieved another call this time from a guy asking for the same information. He even said he would give me the mailing address to their company so that i could check with the bbb. Well needless to say he never gave me that information he only gave me their bogust web address americanfinancialcard.net please be very cautious when dealing with things of this nature.

I got a call from this number and it hung up when I answered. I called back and they hung up on me again when I answered. I thought it was someone trying to verify my number for some reason, like service of process or something. So I googled it and came here. Very interesting. Well thanks to some info already posted, I dug up a little more for people at the FL Sec'y of State website. It could be helpful.

I just had these people call me about an hour ago.

I had applied for a credit card and when she said I was approved, I thought it was the legit card. She said "I was approved" which automatically made me thing this was the company I applied with.

(I never applied for a card from these people.)

But, Without thinking things through, I gave her the information.

They did the $200 thing, which didn't quite make sense, but she said it would be reimbursed..so I somehow let that slip as well. Told her I would have it October 16th.

But, then during some recording she said I had to listen to, I heard the word "catalogue" slip in there. When she got back on the phone I asked her if the card was for their merchandise only, and she said it was.

I then told I wasn't interested. She rudely said "okay" and hung up before I could say anything else.

Hopefully, they will not attempt to take the $200 from my account.

I've called my bank and they said we could put a stop payment, just in case.

I'm gonna do that today or tomorrow.

Be careful folks, these people are tricky.

I called them and told them that I was receiving calls on my cell phone, and that I didn't want to be contacted by their company any longer. They said that they removed me from the list, so we'll see. And there had better not be any money taken out of my checking account, either!

Since February 2006, Elite Recovery Service has been taking $200 from from my checking account every month because they said they would help me fix my credit. After reading some of these messages, I'm wondering, if I made the right decision. Is Elite Recovery Service real or are they just taking my money and my credit will never be fixed? Please reply before they take more of my money.
