They have been calling me constantly, and I had only had my cell phone for 2 days, when they started. I finally got a hold of a different person when I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor, and had them take my number off the list. Definitely not cool!! It just gets me the wrong way, how they have the audacity to try and fraud people. Fortunately I was able to get ahold of someone else when I called back after 2 weeks of calling back and getting hung up on. I am trying to figure out why these guys are still open!!

i have been called by this company for the last 2 weeks. the first time i talked to them the guy was asking for my checking account information. when i wouldnt give it to him and requested more information he told me to look on the website and it would give me all the info i needed. i visited the website while i was on the phone with him and could not access anything. he said i had to be a member to get info on the company and they only way to become a member was to give him my checking info. after that i asked for references and he told me to call the bbb. i told him i would contact them then call him back and he still continued to try to get my checking info. he said that i could get info after i was a member again. i told him not to contact me again and remove my name from their calling list. that was 2 weeks ago and i have been getting about 3-5 calls from them every single day since then...including sundays. everytime i answer the phone i tell them to take my name off of their calling list they get very rude and ask me why i would want to do that and say that i will change my mind one day so they will continue to call. i am so frustrated with this company right now. im about to contact the police about harassment charges. i dont know what else to do...any suggestions???

I consolidated my debts a couple of weeks ago. Then a week later I received a call from American Financial that said they were referred by the debt-considation company to help my rebuild my credit. They told my that I was approved for a $2000 credit line. They didn't tell me that it wasn't a major credit card, or that you can only make purchases thru their web site or catalog. So, I gave them my checking account and routing number and they are scheduled to take my money out on Nov 17. Well, I called this number today 1-888-281-6710, and after being put on hold for 25 minutes. I finally speak to a guy who is eating, and crunching chips in my ear, the whole freaking time he is talking to me. Well, I told him that I wanted to cancel, and he gives me the run around for about 10 minutes, then finally he gives me a cancelation # and then hangs up on me. I am going to call my bank today and put a stop to that payment, I hope it isn't to late. Don't fall for this scam, these people are rip-offs.

I think they may have a new number. I got a call on my cell phone tonight from 727-585-4762, they gave me the same story that American Financial did. I asked him how he got my number and he said that I applied for a credit card. I haven't applied for anything so I told him that I knew this was a scam and that if he called me again that I would call the police. This guy said that his company was Fidelity Credit and his name was Dwayne that are located at:

1301 Seminole BLVD Ste 128
Largo Florida 33770
U.S.A.
Phone Number:
727-596-8705

I am sure these are the same people so BEWARE of them.

I got a 2 calls today on my cell phone, the first one was from a man and the second one was from a woman. She said that I had recently been denied for credit and I have been approved for their credit card with a $2000.00 limit. Then I was asked for my account information for a 200.00 deposit. I am glad that I checked it out before I agreed to it.

I, too, am glad I googled and found this website. I just called back and told them to stop calling me and sending me junk in the mail- they did send me a credit card and I almost signed up, but googled that too. Needless to say I cut up the card

Never give out a bank account number if it is requested. This should red flag anyone. If you are approved for a credit card then you should get the card without verifying your account information. Do not even give you social number over the phone.

I had a friend who made the mistake and said yes to the person. But when that friend didn't recieve the packgge in question she imediately called them back and told them if they took out of her account she would take further action. And also told them she had been taking all information down on all calls and correspondance with them. Notified her bank about it too. Nothing happened, no money taking out.

This is why you never give out your personal information without first chekcing out a company. You never give out your account number, social number anything to anyone over the phone, mail or online.
