This company is a scam-- they called my cell phone and when I answered a man said hello and sent me to an automated recording..
They have attempted 2 times 5-07 and 6-07 to deduct $200 from my checking account. However I did not approve this and now for the second time I am charged $40 per transaction from my BANK..

This is a serious problem. NO website found either and the 1-888-281-6710 Number... You can forget there customer service department it sucks bad..

I want my money back and want removed from this bull crap SCAM.

The number belongs to American Financial. They said they received a request that I wanted to rebuild or re-establish my credit. And they know I was denied for a credit card. I told them I was denied a credit card months ago. And so the rep removed me from the "list"

They have been calling me for about a week now, Today was the first time i took the call.. the guy asked for the wrong name and when I said he wasnt at this number he hung up. So i looked it up on line, and then called him back asking why they called...

Same thing.. that i was pre-approved for a line of credit with them. Ok, thats nice... I didn't apply for credit with them. so i just told them not call again. if it continues i'll be issuing a cease and desist letter

I received numerous phone calls from 18009636320. They told me that they could assist me in helping establish and rebuilding my credit. All I had to do was to provide my banking information. I didn't give into at first because it was awkward that they could not give me the terms or condition of the card unless I gave them my banking information. I had asked them if it was VISA or MASTERCARD. They could not give me a direct answer unless they got my banking info once again. The funny thing was that they said they got my info from a lender that I had gotten denied and they referred my account to them. But when I had asked them what institution, they couldn't give me their info. Well, I told them that I would call them back due to telling them that I am on vacation and did not have my checkbook with me. I had called back and asked them if they had a website so I can see if they were real or not a scam. A representative told me that it was Americanfinancialcard.net. I pulled it up on goolge and came upon this website. I thank this website and the many comments that helped me not be a statistic in this horrible scam. After reading numerous comments, I had called the company back pretending that I did not know anything. It was the same represtatives that were reading the same scripts. Once I mentioned BBB, they hung up or would get huffy with me. Well, I told them that I requested to have my cell phone # off of their list. Any more calls from them, they would not here the end of it. Just FYI, the represntatives that I dealt with that they claimed to work for American Financial were: Lakeisha, Aaron, and their supervisor Ben Woods ID # 1002(that I had asked for). I hope this comment helps alot of people out there as the previous comments before me had helped me!

I, too have become a victim of this fraudulent company. I am only 19 years old and have terrible credit; I was stupid and gullible. I got the call on 6/19/2007 and told them that I wouldn't have the money until at least July 3, 2007. The agreement was only to take 100.00 on the 3rd of July, and the other 100.00 at a latter date. The money was debited from my account the very next day, and now, the 26th of June, I am fighting to get my money back. I am sending them a certified letter TODAY stating that I am, indeed, sueing the ever loving HELL out of this company. Thank you for posting your experiences with them, as that will help my case undoubtedly. Anyone who would like to join me is more than welcome; I WILL get this company shut down, and they will be giving me more than the $200.00 they stole from me to begin with.

I just ran the phone number through the national BBB
website and came back with all of there information.
and additional phone numbers names ect. there official comapny name is American Financial and they are located at 2480 E Bay Drive Suite #28 Largo, Fla.
33771. According to the BBB they have nunerous complaints against them and has a unsatisfactory record with them. Acccording to the BBB they sell credit card plans which does not include visa/mastercard like there phone call states.

Thanks,

After being hung up on, i wrote the number down and called them back, to ask to be put on their do not call list. I guess only men and i think maybe only a handful work there. I got hung up on about 6 times, before finally encountering my first ****.
He proceeded to tell me how rude I was, and to stop yelling at him, mind you i hadn't spoken in any kind of loud tone, given I am working. he then proceeded to demean my intelligence, and cuss at me. I was actually told no one hangs up on anyone, and that everything was being recorded <BULLSHIT> If things were really being recorded, none of those guys would be working. Thanks to all of you for the heads up.
i am very empatheic to those of you who are victims. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY KIND OF INFORMATION!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

I also received phone call from this man wanting my checking account number. I couldn't imagine anyone offering me up to $2000.00 in cash on top of a $2500.00 credit limit to spend in there catalogue when I have horrible credit, Thank God I found this site. When it sounds to good to be true it probably isn't!!!
