I am seeking info on interstates compliance, a man named don freeman (freedman?) Called me, very rude, threatened to download file and have me arrested if my attorney did not call him within 1 hour, when my attorney called back, mr freeman hung up on him. Do not know what this is regarding. Any info?

Sorry, should have read further before asking question, now see others have had same type of calls from don freeman with interstate. Feel better after reading this forum, will send validation letter to address shown in this forum. Thank you!

Welcome to the forums.
Don freeman got nervous hearing the sound of your attorney.  He tried to scare you but he got scared when your attorney was there. Don't fear when you get a call especially from this company. They are into all sorts of FDCPA violations. You name one, and they have broken the law.
Now that you have read others going through similar experiences, send the DV letter and make the company validate your debt legally. Otherwise, sue them for their mischievous activities.
