We are currently in a debt settlement program. We are 18 months into a 36 month plan - and have reached what was supposed to be our savings goal, only to find our new proposed settlement total is now $10,000 more! Do you have a program that can help us?

What changed you proposed settlement amount? Is it due to interest incrued? And, did you have some type of contract in writing stating the total amount this would cost you? I would recommend signing up for the free debt counseling on this website and see if they can help you save more money. I signed up through this site, and have not had any problems yet with the company I am using. Sounds to me like maybe you got scammed or something, but don't know the whole situation yet.
