Hi KM,
I HIGHLY recommend superior debt serivies. I removed my remaining 4 accounts out of Hess kennedy into their company and it is working wonders for me and they HAVE EXCELLENT customer service and they are not a debt consolidation company and they are reputable by BBB.com, and have a great standing company rating!
After posting my long e-mail on here about Hess and how they didn't help me for 9 months... the other day one of my accounts finally got settled and paid off. --that took a lot of effort of calling hess a thousand times a day to speak to someone and to nag them. Basically in my opinion, they really have TERRIBLE customer service, they are the type of company that if you want things done you have to nag them every minute of the day which really is ridiculous but that was the hard way I learned it and got them to get things done.
Also, to be honest...when they say you creditors won't get paid until a settlement is reached,... I can explain this better .--what HESS really means is that if you don't have enought money yet in your trust account to settlement even one credit card account, you have to to basically wait until you are being sue and you received a summons like I did and then that's when Hess decides to negotiate. Sadly...they have a terrible way of running their business and messing up their clients credit score/ ratings after you get into their program. Hess doesn't tell us clients that upfront, but I got sued already for two accounts and just a week ago a few days before my court date, hess settled one of them. they are not working to settle the other one that I am being sued for. I was so stressed out for weeks worrying about appearing in court and thank god I didn't have to. With Hess, the number one thing is you have to have enough money build up before they will do anything to contact your creditors, as frustrating as it is...that is how Hess is. I can't tell you countless times how angry I was on the phone with them and calling them a few times a day to get through to speak to someone, Jenna Hudson who works at Hess is the negotiator and I am constantly calling her to get updates even if it is just a little update. Hess will never call you back so don't expect it, they will just tell u they are too busy and it is better to keep calling them to get someone to speak to.
Because I had to learn the hard way with Hess, I had to end up moving the 4 other accounts out of Hess and transferred it to Superior Debt Services. For those of you who just signed up or thinking of signing up with HEss.... I urge you not to and really do your research to look for a company that is ceritified by bbb.com and also look up the history and ratings on the company before you commit to one.
Although Hess, after almost 10 months has help me settle 1 account out of 7 I originally submitted to them.. and have to finish settling 2 more for me because I moved out the other accounts... I still DO NOT recommend anyone to use them.
Seriously, you must take my post into consideration.. I have had the worst experience with them though they help me in the end a little bit.. I still give them
