Hey all,
I'm trying to do debt consolidation and have received offers to consolidate through "Hess Kennedy & Company" and "Credicure". Has anyone had any dealings with these companies? If so, how would you rank them? Thanks everyone.
I will recommend Hess Kennedy & Company for you. They work in professional terms and have been good in their dealings with the companies. Have your contract in writing from the consultant and review all the terms and conditions. I will give them the preference first if you take my suggestions.
Credicure works with many companies under their parent name. Try to avoid them because many people have not been able to get results of their negotiations as expected.
Yes.. i am currently dealing with them right now. They are extremely nice and caring.. and they will work with you to find a payment plan that is comfortable for you personally. i had over 8 thousand dollars in debt, and they dropped it down to a little over 1 thousand. to pay off in 12 months i pay 180.00.
I have been talking to someone from Credit Exchange. Has anyone dealt with them? I'm a little worrysome about them because I know nothing about them. Anyone have any input?
There are 7 companies listed with BBB under the name Credit Exchange involved in different types of business. One is auto dealer; few are collection agencies and so on. Could you tell us which company you are looking for? You can also check their profile with BBB website.

Does anyone else have a suggestion on who will get the best settlement for me. H and K was pretty good, but I think I should look for more options. Does looking into multiple counselors make the previous offers invalid, I noticed the offer is only good for 24 hours. Something shady about that!
I would suggest you registering with this site to get the free counseling. This site can refer you to one of the best debt consolidation companies of the country. I'm sure you will find the counseling session useful.
BTW, you can definitely go with another company if you haven't signed a contract yet.
By signing up for counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the pay off amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
