Hi everyone! Have a quick question. Can I dispute inaccurate dates the actual account was opened on my credit report? Just about all the negative accounts on my report have wrong "date opened" dates on my report that I am almost 100% positive I remember when the accounts were opened. Can I dispute this matter?

Yes you can. You can dispute anything which you find is incorrect. This does not mean that they will change it but it is always worth a shot.

Shar,
Emsbchristy has said it correct. You can dispute any item on your credit report that you think to be incorrect. Credit bureau will run an investigation and will update your report accordingly.
This inaccuracy is there with any one of your credit report or all the reports from three bureaus are showing it wrong? However, you can send dispute letter to them through certified mail with return receipt requested. They should respond to your mail within 30 days.
Collect a sample dispute letter from the “Free Sample Letter” e-book and modify it as per your need-
