I had a call on my answering machine from a guy telling me to call him back at 800-663-4707. When I looked the number up I found Leading Edge Recovery Solutions, LLC out of Chicago, IL.

Has anyone ever heard anything about this company? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have heard of this company...I've dealt with them for a past debt I had. They are legit and pretty reasonable to work with.

I have spoken with them. They are rude, they threaten me and are downright obnoxious. Sometimes the number comes up as a Chicago, sometimes the 1-800 number. I am current on bills, have consolidated two credit cards and am paying that monthly, so I don't know what to do to get them to leave me alone!!

I had to deal with them earlier today and they are unbelievably unprofessional. When I FINALLY got a live supervisor, all he could say was that he would "listen to the tape" but I doubt he will. I left a message with another supervisor and will be calling later this week to follow up. I WOULD NEVER deal with them EVER.

I keep getting these annoying, automated messages that Roger Bass wants me to call him. I have no outstanding debts and really resent being harassed by this company.

This bozo keeps leaving me messages too. Doesn't even say what company he's calling from, or why. I have never been in debt, and I frankly don't even think they know whose number they're calling. Total jerks.

I just called them and asked for Roger Bass, and the woman actually said 'He's just a recording'. She then asked for the phone number where the messages were being left (I was right - they had no idea who they were calling). Once I gave it, she said they were trying to locate a Jeffrey Miller, whom I've never heard of. She said she would take my number off their list.
Come to think of it, these were probably the same twits who called me a while back trying to locate a Jennifer Miller. When I told them I didn't know her, they acted like they didn't believe me. Rude, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time.

Leading Edge Recovery Solutions is a collection agency which operates barely within the law. Numerous harassment complaints and actual physical threats have been brought against these people on numerous occasions. They hire a bunch of transient "debt collectors" who are poorly paid, stay in a job for just a few weeks before moving on. They frequently operate on misinformation, telephoning people who have not had a particular phone number for years, or have not lived at a particular address for years. The best thing to do is call your State Attorney or other authorities in your state who deal with Debt Collection Practices. Or harass them right back! Twisted Evil

This is a horrible company with nothing to offer anyone in debt. My best guess is they take advantage of the poor and diadvantaged. I have recieved over 10 phone calls. When I returned the call, the woman would not tell me what the company did and actually hung up on me. After my own research, I found out the information and I hope to get my number off their list soon. I spoke with a "manager who was very rude, yelled at me and insisted that I give him my phone number. Please do not use this company for any of your credit card debt!

I called my phone company and gave them the number and they were able to block that number from my phone so hopefully I won't get any more calls. I refuse to call the company directly. My suggestion is to block the number if possible. I've been getting messages for 2-3 months.

Did you ever call them back to find out the purpose of their call?
