Hello,
I am just curious.....I see T&C mentioned quite a bit on the forums, and it seems like the majority of folks are quite pleased with their services. I am currently signed up with a
credit counseling service, but I am a bit unhappy about their response time to my questions. I do have my own individual credit counselor, but I am gathering that she is swamped with work, because everytime I e-mail her with a question I get pushed off because she has appointments back to back. I would like to hear from anyone who has had experiences with T&C, including how their program works vs how other credit counselors operate. I have mostly credit card/collection agency and personal loan debt, plus a few payday loans thrown in for good measure!

Another question...with some of the credit card accounts that I have, I was pressured into making payment arrangements that I can't possibly keep, and have sent the companies in question letters stating that I cancel the payment arrangements effective immediately, plus I include my credit counselor's information so that they are aware they will be paid one way or the other. I also state that they should cease communication with me immediately...is this ok to ask, I don't want to antagonize them, but I am just plain weary of dealing with them! In the cases of collection agencies, they don't seem like they want to hear I am working with a credit counselor, and give me a spiel on how the proposed payment will only cover part of the interest, and the total balance will take forever to go down. What have your experiences been? Sorry to be so long-winded, just have a lot on my plate, as you all do! Thank you for listening

! Blessings, Melissa
