T&C dragging their feet???

I know that T&C is very busy, but I have been with them for a week now and they haven't made phone contact with my lenders. I called them yesterday afternoon in a panic because my bank was still letting electronic debits through my account. When I told the counselor this, she told me to fax her the phone numbers for my lenders so she could start calling them. I did. I just called back a while ago and was told that my fax had not been given to her yet and she should have it by this afternoon so she could start calling and try to get the lenders to stop the debits. I feel like if I hadn't called then no one would have been doing anything for me. I guess I just thought that they would act with more urgency than they are. I really need to know that they are doing everything they can. I feel like you guys here at the forum are giving me more support than T&C and I'm not even paying you! Hopefully some progress will be made this week. I still have some time before payday.

Be patient with T&C, they will help you. I know that when we started they didn't seem to be as busy as they are now. I work almost exclusively with Jessica there but I have also talked to a couple others who are very good. Call them again this afternoon or tomorrow morning and explain how you feel and I'm sure they will get to it. They are great!!

Its usually a long wait before you can speak to a customer service representative. Sometimes if you've been waiting a while they take down your name and number and give you a call back. I havent had any problems with them so far. They've started contacting my lenders already and are sending me documents which i have to fill out for certain lenders. One thing you might also want to try is just close your bank account down. That is what T&C advised me, just so that the payday lenders cant take out any fees from your account, since theyre going to be paid through T&C. If you have any questions about them let me know. Its good to keep in touch with T&C though.

I just spoke with T&C this morning and they have been working hard. They have contacted almost everyone and everything is in the works. Also, no debits came out of my bank account today (2 totaling 500+ were supposed to). I am still not breathing easy but I am very hopeful.
