I have been trying to deal with Brennan's law firm for FOUR MONTHS and nothing has happened. I even sent them an fax and certified letter canceling my account. Yet they still have taken money out of my account for the last 2 months. They owe me well over $1000. Needless to say I am taking legal action against them. I will let ya'll know how it goes.

I set up an account with them in September and as soon as I sent them the paper work no money was taken out of my account and I have not heard a word from them after calling them 15 times and leaving messages because you can not takl to a real person there and sometimes you can't leave a message and several e-mails. I think that they ae some sort of scam and that I am going to cancel my account with them.

I'm going to blow this damn thing out of the water JAG or no I'm getting my money, if I have to drive to Maryland & hunt his punk ass & office minions down. By the way people your BBB & your personal State's Attorney General complaints fall on deaf ears. Mine have been in for over 2 mos & not the first fucking word from any of them. My lawyer contacted the Maryland Bar Assoc. & it's like the Pope preaching a sermon to Southern Baptist. NOTHING.

this brennan guy is full of it. you can not get in touch with anyone. every mailbox is full. ive sent e-mails, faxes, left messages. the guy has basically stole our money. how hard is it or how long can it take to write a check for the full amount they took and put it in the mail. All i want is my money so i can pay my creditors like that d.ick was supposed to and get my credit back on track becuase it has gone to sh.it becuase there have been no payments.

i talked to the new agency they referred me to and they said they have heard the same story from everyone who came from this a**hole. also they said that brennan does not call them back either. he is a crook

I too have made numerous phone calls, sent faxes, and mailed letters in which I have received no repsones. I also finally made arrangments with my creditors after learning they too were never notified or received any type of communication from this office.

I have asked for my monies to be returned also (and I am out alot ore than $900).

I would like to know how tofile a complaint with the BBB. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Go to bbb.com and there is a complaint form...fill it out...and you should get a response. I did..but my money wasnt returned. Its still good to file one so the the numebers will increase against his company. Calling, faxing, emailing doesnt work. Someone please sue this a**hole.. Ive just gotten tired of getting stressed out about getting the money back that in the long run it will cost me my health, money and time. He shorted me 344..not counting the deposit of 344. But he said that was a different company and we would never get it back, they went out of buisness. It is bad..I feel bad when others have been shorted out alot more than I have. I claimed fraud on my bank about his transaction that was pulled out on aug. 28th they are investigating it and will let me know hopefully this week. Good luck to all of us. Hopefully his day will come...either he will get sued the sh*T out of or be in prison.

I've been reading these complaints and I too have been calling Richard A Brennan's office along with emailing, faxed and certified mail and still trying to get my money (1,318.00), I was fortunate to have talked to someone from their office who informed me to send an email and state why I did not want to take the settlement by Richard A Brennan and they would send me my check along with all my papers yah right:( and that each Friday they send checks out. Yup, you figured it right. I am still waiting to see my money. I never gave authorization for Richard A Brennan to take over my account. I too had to close my old account so that no more money was going to his law firm and don't you know he still tried taking the withdrawl - oh the nerve..... I feel for all of you that are going through this. On a good note I am making arrangements with my creditors to get back on track. Richard A Brennan has ruined my credit up to now but note: I am determined to get my credit back I never had bad credit before and I am talking over 20 years, this is a sad shame what this company is doing to each of you and me. I would like to share one more thing. If you feel you can not negotiate with your creditors I give you these words YOU CAN! I have found them to have empathy beyond what I could ever imagined. Two of my creditors is giving me a second chance one at 0% and one at .99% what more could I ask for? Now I have 2 more creditors to negotiate with, so as you can see I am very thankful and I will not give up!! However I am not giving up on getting my money back so I can pay it to the creditors that's where it should have been going in the first place. This is obviously beyond a few hundred bucks here and there.. we're talking thousands of customers experiencing credit devastation, lost money, failed promises and poor service. This company is a rip off and if you have had the misfortune of having your account transferred to them without ANY notification, CONTACT THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. These guys will continue to get away with this until enough people report them. If you haven't already, contact the BBB as well. These people have my $$ as well and they kept saying to fax in the statement copies to 'prove' payments weren't made. It's all lies. I read a few google searches on the LORAB and everyone posting messages... it's disgustingly similar to what I've gone thru, I've spoke to all the same people and literally had all the same conversations.

I just received an email from a Tiffany Femenia, Legal Assistant on 11/9/06 stating the following:

We are making this courtesy email today to inform you that your account as been transferred as of November 1st to Consumer Alliance. New contracts are on their way to your home. If you would like to continue your [url=http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/debt-management.html]debt management[/url] program, please fill out the information they have mailed and return them directly to Consumer Alliance. All of their contact information is supplied for you in their mailing. They will be able to complete your debt management plan without further interruption. Please be patient as we will continue to work to resolve past credicure issues. Thank you and have a pleasant day.

GUESS WHAT??? I still haven't received ANYTHING in the mail and today is 11/20/06. If you look up the Consumer Alliance company online, you will find that the company is being sued in MN for fraud by the Federal Trade Commission. WONDERFUL. They are transferring my account to known theives!!

LORAB refused to give me a refund of my money. In September, they said I had to wait until October 1st for a refund because the company they 'sold' my account needed to do an internal audit of monies. I waited until 10/27/06 and sent them another fax asking for the information for the new company. LIES LIES LIES! ALL LIES!! Contact the Federal Trade Commission and don't just file a complaint online, call and tell someone your story! The operators are extreamly helpful and informative!!!
