I feel so bad for the people listing here that they have had so much trouble with Brennan. I'm very glad I never have had to deal with them, but it just makes me so angry that one company or individual has the power to bring misery into so many lives with his actions.

I hope everything works out in the end for everyone.

Some of u people are crazy as hell. You accumalate this debt, in an average over multiple years, and then u expected to disappear in a couple of days, because u signed up with a someone who evidently more quailfied to handle these type issues, that most of ya'll dumb **** got YOURSELVES into.

So my thing is, if u have some many negative things to say about this law firm, then my suggestion would be take care of your business on your own, and stop ****ing and crying for something u were suppose to be responsible for, not this firm.

Hey "just breezing thru" - let me guess, you work for this theif?? Maybe what you don't understand is that many people pay their credit cards on time, pay more than the minimum, yet the cards will still increase the apr on the account. WE cannot work with the accounts to lower the APR, yet a debt management program can come in and knock the APR down to basically nothing. This is why we joined the program. Yet when this law firm took over the accounts, they decided not to make payments, and after taking the money out of our checking accounts they kept the money for themselves - they did not use it to pay the credit card companies. This is why we are warning others not to do any business with the law offices of richard a brennan, and trying to figure out how to get this money back. If you don't want to hear about these problems, don't read the posts and don't bother to write your opinions (if that's what you call writing).

Richard,
You will be going to jail for this, you screwed with a few of the wrong people, and we will get to the bottom of this, Taking money from people and not doing what a contract was said to have been done is fraud. Also I hope it makes you feel good about yourself that you are not helping but hurting people by taking there money. I can not wait for you to go down for this, AND YOU WILL it is Just a MAtter of time.

Anyone interested in getting their initial deposit back?
Remember that deposit you placed (one month). Here's the process to get 2/3rds of it back. It's not the full amount, but here's what you do.

1. Contact Client Services - It's on your contact with United Christian Financial.
2. Give them your client ID and tell them you were with United Christian Financial.
3. Ask for a "Grievance form" to get your deposit back due to "extenuating circumstances"
4. Fill out the form and explain what Richard "the thief" Brennan did. Fax the form back. Manager of the return/grievance department is David Bartlett.
5. You will get a response within about 1 week, they will take about a 30% service fee and mail you back the rest.

It's not your entire deposit but it's better than nothing...

Still working on getting my money back from Brennan... Good luck everyone.

I too have experienced many of the same events with this rip off law firm. Since oct of 2005 this firm has drafted funds monthly from my personal checking account. First as credicure and thn as brennan law firm. On december 2005 i placed a stop payment on my account to stop further drafting--the brennan law office just changed the name of the drtafting ocmpany and ran the draft through again-now i am forced to close my account and reopen a new account. I have also been served with civil warrants and now a garnishment, this has occurred because the brennan firm has taken thousands of dollars from me na has not settled with my creditors. I am now forced to file bankruptcy. This should be a crime and the brennan firm should be stopped. Where is our justice system??????

I would recommed to everyone who wants thier money back to keep calling the BBB, AG, & any other consumer advocate service to get thier money back. His "company" is based in Frederick County, MD. Maybe a few calls to the mayor's office might help.

I live about 45 miles away so I plan to go to his office this week to get my money back. I'm not leaving until I get it.
